Classic cocktail smokies are wrapped in smoky bacon, coated with a spicy brown sugar rub, and baked until crispy and oh so addicting!  

Bacon-Wrapped Little Smokies

bacon, each

light brown sugar, packed

tsp cayenne pepper (more

black pepper ((optional))

Prepare a jelly roll pan (or large baking sheet with a rim), with a layer of aluminum foil, lightly coated with non-stick cooking spray. &nbsp;Set aside. &nbsp;Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.

Pat sausages dry with a paper towel and wrap each individual sausage with a piece of the cut bacon. &nbsp;Secure with a toothpick.

Add brown sugar, cayenne and black pepper to a large resealable plastic bag. &nbsp;Use a spoon to combine the sugar with seasonings. &nbsp;Add several bacon wrapped sausages, seal bag and shake gently to coat. &nbsp;Repeat with all remaining sausages.

Line sugar rubbed sausages on prepared baking sheet and bake 30 -35 minutes, until bacon is browned. &nbsp;For some extra crispness, broil for a couple of minutes after baking.

The classic little smokies appetizer gets an upgrade from the cayenne and brown sugar rub, not to mention crispy bacon wrapped around the smokies!

Do you have parties coming up? During the holidays especially, I attend so many parties and make so many different appetizers and party foods. I thought that I would try something easier than what I normally take, something that doesn’t take long to make, and so I came across these cheese pinwheels. Let me tell you, they are such a hit. Not only are they quick and easy to make, they are absolutely delicious and just one tortilla makes so many! If you need to make a batch big enough for a huge party, you just use an entire package of flour tortillas and alter the recipe.

These Cheese Pinwheels Are Perfect For Your Holiday Parties

green olives, chopped

tbsp. of capers, chopped

½ tbsp. of red onion, chopped

½ tbsp. of fresh parsley, chopped

mayonnaise

Mix cream cheese with shredded cheese, mayonnaise, chopped...

Mix cream cheese with shredded cheese, mayonnaise, chopped olives, onion, capers and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Leave in fridge for 4 hours or overnight....

Leave in fridge for 4 hours or overnight. Remove plastic wrap and cut rolled tortilla into 8-10 pieces.
