Quick and Easy Pepperoni Rolls

Rhodes white bread

pizza sauce Homemade Pizza Sauce

Pepperoni

Mozzarella cheese

Parmesan cheese

Garlic salt

Butter

Let bread thaw out from the freezer for a few hours. Roll the dough out to about an 11x11 square. Spread your sauce with a large spoon and then add on your mozzarella cheese. Lay the pepperoni in rows covering the top. Roll the dough up.

Melt the butter and brush it on top of the rolled dough. Sprinkle it with parmesan cheese and some garlic salt. Bake on a baking sheet at 375 for 15-25 minutes.

These easy, simple pepperoni rolls are perfect for on-the-go snacks, meals, and entertaining.  A large batch comes in handy and stores well in the freezer for when you need them. 

Pepperoni Rolls (Large Batch)

pepperoni slices (8-12 pepperoni slices per roll)

eggs

flour

cooking spray

cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Flour your work surface and roll out a dinner roll to a circle shape about 4 inches in diameter.

Arrange 8-12 pepperoni slices down the center, within the edges of the dough.

Dip your fingertips in water and tap around the edges of the dough.

Roll the dough with pepperoni (so the pepperoni slices run the length of the roll).

Place the pepperoni rolls on a lightly greased baking sheet seam side down an inch or two apart from each other.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the egg wash.

Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown.

Serve when slightly cooled or cool completely before storing them in the freezer.

Frozen Bread Dough (thawed according to the package instructions)

Pizza Sauce (divided)

Italian Seasoning

Pepperoni Slices

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Garlic Salt

Tablespoons Butter (melted)

Parmesan Cheese

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll out the bread dough into a 12X18 rectangle.

Spoon 1/4 cup of the pizza sauce onto the pizza dough and spread it out into an even layer leaving a border without sauce around the edges.

Sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the sauce.

Layer the pepperoni on top and top with the shredded mozzarella cheese in an even layer.

Roll the rectangle length wise into a long log.  Pinch the edges to seal the log close to keep it from unraveling while baking.

Use a sharp knife to slice the dough into 16 equal rolls that are approximately 1-1 1/2 inch thick.

Place each of the rolls onto the baking sheet a cut side down.

Mix together the melted butter with garlic salt until combined.  Brush this mixture on top of rolls.

Bake for 10-12 minutes.

Sprinkle the grated parmesan cheese on top and bake for 3-5 more minutes until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.

Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Serve with the remaining pizza sauce for dipping them into and enjoy!
