29 oz canned Hunt's Tomato Sauce

tbsp parsley

heavy cream

basil leaves

salt and pepper

First, in a large sauce pan, add oil, onions and garlic. Cook for 3 minutes or until onions are translucent.

Then, add canned tomato sauce and parsley. Cook covered for 30 minutes stirring every ten minutes to avoid sticking.

Next, turn off the stove. Add the heavy cream and basil leaves and stir.

Ultra kid-friendly, totally delicious, 15 minute pink pasta sauce. It's perfect as is, but you can add protein or veggies to bulk it up a little bit!

2-Ingredient Pink Pasta Sauce

(14-15 ounces tomato sauce)

salt

black pepper

short pasta

toppings (see note)

Bring a large pot of water to boil with salt for the pasta. Add the pasta and cook to al dente per the package directions. Right before draining, reserve a cup of the cooking liquid for the sauce.

In a separate large skillet, combine the cream and tomato sauce with 1/2 teaspoon salt over medium heat. Let the sauce simmer for just a minute or two while the pasta cooks.

Taste the sauce and add more salt and pepper to your preference.

Toss the pink pasta sauce with all of the pasta, adding in splashes of cooking liquid until the sauce coats all of the pasta.

Top with anything you'd like or enjoy plain. Enjoy!

This pink sauce pasta is made with a blend of tomatoes and creamy cream sauce, parmesan cheese, mozzarella, garlic, and delicious spices.

Best Pink Sauce Pasta

300 g Pasta (penne, uncooked)

Garlic cloves

tbsp Olive oil

Onion (medium, diced)

tsp oregano

tsp basil

tsp Chili flakes

tsp Kosher salt

Milk

Heavy cream

Mozzarella

Parmesan

Tomato sauce

In a large pot over high heat, add the water, salt, and pasta, and cook the pasta to al dente according to the package instructions.

Drain and wash the pasta with cold water to prevent it from overcooking.

In a large skillet, on medium heat, add olive oil, and the onions, and cook them until they are lightly golden brown.

Add the minced garlic and tomato sauce and mix well.

Add the dried oregano, dried basil, chili flakes, and kosher salt. Then add the heavy cream and milk and mix well until combined.

Add the mozzarella and parmesan cheese and mix over medium heat until the cheeses have melted.

We used a hand blender to make the sauce smoother.

Add the al dente-cooked pasta and mix well.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and extra parmesan and serve!
