This Spicy Chicken Sandwich is crispy, juicy and tender, the way most of us like our chicken to be. It also has a good amount of kick that will have your taste buds dancing away.

Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Homemade Sauce

chicken breast

brioche buns

vegetable oil (enough

salt

onion powder

garlic powder

white pepper

hot hungarian paprika (or regular)

slap yo mama (or cajun seasoning)

butter milk

flour

tbsp cornsratch

paprika

eggs

franks hot sauce

buttermilk

mayo

cayenne pepper

In a large bowl season chicken breast with salt, onion power, garlic powder, paprika, slap yo mama, white pepper and buttermilk. Marinate for 30 minutes - 2 hours.

Heat a large deep pot with oil allow to slowy heat up to 350F instert wooden spoon and oil starts to bubble .

Mix flour, cornstarch , onion powder, garlic, paparika, slap yo mama. Set to side

Flour Mixture

Mix eggs, franks red hot sauce, buttermilk

Remove chicken 30mins later from refrigerator. Remove chicken one by one from butter milk (remove as much buttermilk as you could or you will have a thick coating).

Dip chicken in egg mixture then in flour and fry for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

In a medium size pan coat buns with butter and pan fry until golden brown. Place chicken on bun with spicy mayo and pickles.

Second time I made this. We enjoyed them. Only took 8 min to fry them and was temp of 156 f.

These were delicious and easy to make.  A couple changes I made were to cook them in the air fryer and substituted siracha for the hot sauce.

INGREDIENTS

* Chicken Marinate 
3 Chicken Breast
1 dash salt
1 tbsp onion
1 tbsp garlic
1 tsp white pepper
1 tbsp hot hungarian paprika or regular 
1 tbsp slap yo mama or cajun seasoning 
1/2- 1 cup butter milk

* Flour Mixture
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tbsp slap yo mama or cajun seasoning
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp garlic powder
1/2 tbsp paprika
4 tbsp cornstarch

* Egg Mixture 
2 eggs
1 tbsp red hot sauce
1 cup butter milk

* Spicy Mayo 
1/4 cup mayo
1 dash cayenne pepper

Fry chicken on 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
 
TIPS: Enough to season 3-6 chicken breast .
