Easy prawn and chorizo pasta recipe with spaghetti, king prawns, chorizo and simple seasonings. Simple but not bland. Packed with garlicky prawns and smokey chorizo flavour. Perfect quick and easy pasta dinner everyone will love! Ready in 20 minutes!

Prawn and Chorizo Pasta

150 g Chorizo (Or choice of sausage)

g Prawn

g Spaghetti

Salt

Pepper

½ tsp Smoked paprika (Or paprika)

Garlic (Finely chopped)

Olive oil

Lemon juice (or to taste)

Parmesan

(Freshly grated)

Parsley (Finely chopped)

In a large pot of salted water, boil the pasta by the packet instructions. Reserve one cup of pasta boiling water for later use. Once it is cooked, drain water.

Meawhile the pasta is cooking, you can prepare the prawn and chorizo.

Heat the pan into medium-heat, drizzle olive oil and saute the chorizo for 1-2 minutes. Remove from pan and set it aside.

Add prawns in the remaining oil. Once the prawns turn pink turn sides, stir in chopped garlic. Season the prawns with salt, pepper and smoked paprika. Stir it well.

Now place the chorizo and boiled pasta in the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Pour half cup of reserved pasta water in. Add more water if needed.

Toss well to combine everything evenly, until there is no water in the pan.

Turn off the heat, squeeze fresh lemon juice and sprinkle chopped parsley.

Transfer to serving plate and garnish with freshly grated parmesan and parsley if desired.

🔪 Instruction
Prepare the pasta and reserve one cup of pasta boiling water for later use.

Stir fry the prawns and season with salt, pepper and smoked paprika. 

Combine prawns, chorizo and pasta and pour pour half cup of reserved pasta water in.

Toss well till water dissolved.

Easy Prawn and Chorizo Pasta | Easy Dinner

Impress friends and family by serving up this full flavoured salmon and prawn linguine recipe for dinner. Made with a lemon and cream sauce and topped with fresh dill and chilli flakes, every mouthful of this creamy salmon pasta recipe is a slurp-ful delight! Its a fantastic way to fit in a portion of oily fish and to get dinner on the table in less than 30 minutes.

Salmon and Prawn Linguine Recipe

Start by cooking the linguine according to the instructions on the packet. Once cooked, drain and cool but keep the pasta water to one side for adding to the sauce later.

Next preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F). Lay the salmon fillets side by side in the centre of a piece of foil and sprinkle over the dried dill.

Wrap the foil loosely around the fish leaving enough room for air to circulate around the fish whilst cooking. This will cook the fish more evenly. Place the foil package on a tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes.

Whilst the fish is cooking, start to prepare the sauce. On a medium heat gently fry the chopped garlic and shallots in 1 tbsp of oil until soft.

Next, add 100ml of white wine to the shallots. Keep the pan on a medium heat and simmer for 30 seconds to allow the wine to reduce a little.

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the creme fraiche.

Season the creamy sauce with salt, pepper and lemon juice. At this point check the consistency of the sauce, if you would like it thicker you can add a bit of flour (see further details in the notes below under &#039;flour&#039;).

Return the pan to a low heat and add the raw prawns. Do not allow the sauce to boil at any point. Gently cook for a minute or so until the prawns start to turn bright pink. Remove the pan from the heat again until the salmon and pasta are ready to be added.

When the salmon is cooked, remove from the oven. Gently flake the salmon with a fork and add to the sauce in the pan. Mix in gently. (Any skin on the salmon should have stuck to the foil during cooking and can now be discarded.)

Next, add the cooked linguine to the pan.

Add one or two ladles of the pasta cooking water and use tongues to mix the pasta into the sauce. Add more pasta water to further loosen the sauce if necessary.

Finally, return the pan to the stove for a final blast of heat (do not boil), then stir through freshly chopped dill and chilli flakes before serving.

Prawns, passata, and a handful of ingredients are all you need to make this simple pasta recipe.

Start by de-heading and peeling your prawns. Set the prawns aside.

Heat a splash of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium-high heat and add the prawn heads and shells. Cook for about 4 minutes until pink and fragrant.

Peel and add 2 of the cloves of garlic and sizzle for a minute, then pour in the wine and let it reduce for a few mins.

Add the tomato passata and cook for about 10 mins until thickened. While the sauce cooks, devein the prawns (if you want to).

Pour the sauce mix through a colander into a bowl or jug. Use a spoon to squeeze as much sauce through as possible. Drizzle a little water over the prawn shells to rinse everything through the colander.

Pour the sauce back into the pan, taste and season and continue to cook gently while you put your pasta on to boil in plenty of salted water.

Place a separate pan over a medium high heat and add a splash of olive oil. Add the prawns and fry for a couple of minutes. Slice and add the garlic and chilli and cook for another 2 mins.

Once al dente, drain your pasta and add to the prawns and toss well. Plate up and top with a handful of chopped parsley.
