Edible cookie dough that tastes absolutely delicious! You'd never guess that it's made with chickpeas. Vegan and gluten-free.

Protein Cookie Dough

15 oz can chickpeas (rinsed and drained)

vanilla plant-based protein powder

almond butter butter

coconut sugar

vanilla extract

sea salt

chocolate chips

Add chickpeas

Add chickpeas to a large food processor and process until they start to smooth out. You may need to use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides.

Add remaining ingredients

Add protein powder, almond butter, coconut sugar, vanilla, sea salt and process until a ball of dough forms.

Add chocolate chips

Use a rubber spatula to separate the cookie dough a bit, add chocolate chips and pulse 2-3 times or until chocolate chips get dispersed in the cookie dough.

Serve

Remove cookie dough from the processor and enjoy!

Store

Store any leftover dough in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.

Scoop Protein Powder (Your Choice Flavor)

Tablespoons Nut Butter (Peanut, Cashew, Almond, etc)

13 g Honey (or Brown Rice Syrup (Lower Sugar))

Chocolate Chips (Optional)

Add all of your ingredients into a bowl

Mix everything together

This protein cookie dough is a simple five minute recipe that is perfect for a post workout snack or healthy dessert. It&#039;s vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free and has 10 grams of protein per serving.

peanut butter

maple syrup

non-dairy milk (more as needed)

vanilla

whisk flour

Whisk together the almond flour and protein powder.

melt peanut butter

Add the peanut butter to the microwave and heat for about 20 seconds, just to melt it slightly so it&#39;s easier to work with.

add all ingredients

Add the peanut butter to the flour along with the maple syrup, milk and vanilla.

Mix together with a rubber spatula until combined, adding 1-2 more tablespoons of milk as needed.

add chocolate

serve

Leave as is or roll into balls. Store in the fridge for best results.

Low Carb Chocolate Protein Cookies

vegan chocolate protein (4 scoops)

almond butter

tsp raw cacao powder

Tbsp granulated stevia

Tbsp milk (75 milliliters)

The Protein Works Spread

Combine your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl: almond flour, vegan chocolate protein powder, raw cacao powder and granulated stevia. Stir until combined, then create a well in the middle and add in the Loaded Nuts spread and plant milk.

Mix everything together thoroughly with a spatula and switch over to using your hands, once the dough becomes thicker. Place the dough in the fridge for 10 minutes.

Scoop out the cookie dough for each cookie with a spoon and roll it into a ball. Place the dough ball  onto your lined baking tray and gently flatten the cookie. Repeat until you've got all your cookies on the tray. Place a little extra Loaded Nuts Spread onto the top and bake them into the oven for about 15 minutes.

Let them cool down for 10 minutes before removing them from the baking tray.
