Healthy Pumpkin Spice Syrup

(122 grams) pure pumpkin puree

pumpkin pie spice,

maple syrup

coconut sugar, optional,

vanilla extract

Combine the pumpkin and spices in a small saucepan over low-medium heat. Cook for about 1 minute, to cook off any &#8220;canned pumpkin&#8221; flavor, stirring regularly.

Next, add in the maple syrup, coconut sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and water. Mix to combine and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the coconut sugar is dissolved.

It should have a thin, pourable consistency, with a little bit of caramelly texture.

Add more water if it&#8217;s thickened more than you&#8217;d like, and note that it will thicken a bit as it cools. Add vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Pour into the bottle of your choice. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

This recipe is absolutely amazing! It’s like a bottled up jar of Fall. I decided to take out the coconut sugar and it was sweet enough for me. I added it to some hot almond milk and it was just a warm mug of happiness. This was far better than any pumpkin spiced creamer you’d get at a grocery store. Highly recommend!

A homemade pumpkin spice latte syrup that you can use to sweeten your coffee or on top of other baked goods

Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup

coconut milk coconut milk

coconut sugar sugar

tbsp pumpkin pie spice

tsp salt

Add the can of coconut milk to a sauce pan

Heat the coconut milk over medium heat whisking occasionally until the solids have melted

Add the coconut sugar and pumpkin pie spice to the pot and whisk to combine

Heat over medium-high heat until the mixture boils

Simmer the mixture uncovered whisking frequently for 15 minutes

The mixture will reduce to a thick syrupy consistency

Remove the pot from the heat and whisk in the salt

Allow the mixture to cool completely and transfer to an airtight container for storage

Use 1 tbsp of the syrup in your favorite fall beverages!

I just made this syrup and it is amazing!!! First of all, it makes your house smell delicious. Second of all, it’s the perfect amount of sweetness for those of us who don’t like too much sugar in our coffee. It’s also super easy to make and the ingredients are inexpensive 😊

This is so yummy in my hot or cold coffee! I love that I get the pumpkin spice without the sweetness overload. Now I can choose what creamer I prefer and still get to add a pumpkin twist.

Made this for my coffee today and it was so delicious. I always love caramel sauce in my coffees but I've had to stop using it since they always contain high fructose corn syrup. I'm so excited to have found a festive alternative!

I made this syrup the other day and I am obsessed! I normally don't put any sweetness in my coffee, but this is just the right amount and makes my cold brew taste so delicious. I can't wait to try it in hot coffee too. I used full fat coconut milk because my store didn't have coconut cream and I didn't have any issues. I've been wanting to make this for weeks, but I kept forgetting to get more coconut sugar at the store. I got some this week, and it was well worth the wait! YUM! I could honestly drink this straight out of the jar, but instead I mixed it with Vanilla Nut Pods and put it in my iced coffee. So good!

This syrup is so good! I love flavored lattes but find most to be too sweet. This syrup is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet, and now I can't wait to cozy up with a latte and a book! I only had full fat coconut milk and granular sugar on hand and had no issues :)

Omg! This recipe is AMAZING! At first I thought it was going to be too sweet for me, but once I mixed it with the milk- Perfect! And I sent it to all my pumpkin spice loving friends and they’re all excited to try it.

Just made this for my lattes for the next few weeks! I used coconut milk because it was what I had, and it came out just fine! I suspect the consistency is a little thinner than if I had used cream, but can confirm it's still tasty and good.

I love this recipe! The flavor is so good.  I made a batch in July when I was craving a pumpkin spice latte, but of course wasn't going to find one, and now it's a standard item I make.

Typically I don’t like anything in my coffee but plain milk but this syrup is delicious and adds so much flavor without being overly sweet. It’s so easy to make and it made enough for me to take some to work too!  Will be making this again and again!

Love this syrup!  You get the pumpkin spice scent and taste without it being overly sweet. Just used it all up and am going to try the Gingerbread Latte syrup next.
