Make your own Healthy Pumpkin Spice Syrup, perfect for making your own vegan pumpkin spice lattes and pumpkin chai lattes, or for drizzling on top of pancakes! It's dairy-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free.

Healthy Pumpkin Spice Syrup

(122 grams) pure pumpkin puree

pumpkin pie spice,

maple syrup

coconut sugar, optional,

vanilla extract

Combine the pumpkin and spices in a small saucepan over low-medium heat. Cook for about 1 minute, to cook off any “canned pumpkin” flavor, stirring regularly.

Next, add in the maple syrup, coconut sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and water. Mix to combine and cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the coconut sugar is dissolved.

It should have a thin, pourable consistency, with a little bit of caramelly texture.

Add more water if it’s thickened more than you’d like, and note that it will thicken a bit as it cools. Add vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Pour into the bottle of your choice. Store in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.

Great recipe!! I made this earlier today :D

Saw it on Instagram and just made it immediately!! Sooo good in coffee! Thank you for sharing.

Beyond delicious and so quick to make!! Another amazing recipe :)

Do yourself a huge favor and try this recipe because the results are simply amazing! I drizzled it over whipped cream on a less-than-ideal mug cake which transformed that effort into a heavenly treat. Thanks so much for another win at home!

Made this yesterday and I'm ALREADY almost out!! It's so so freaking delicious.

This recipe is absolutely amazing! It’s like a bottled up jar of Fall. I decided to take out the coconut sugar and it was sweet enough for me. I added it to some hot almond milk and it was just a warm mug of happiness. This was far better than any pumpkin spiced creamer you’d get at a grocery store. Highly recommend!

Just made this -- AMAZING!!! Perfect for fall and avoiding overly sugary syrups. Thank you!

Just made this with the "rests" of the pumpkin puree and letttt meeee tell youuu! It's the coziest of syrups!!

I just made this syrup and it is amazing!!! First of all, it makes your house smell delicious. Second of all, it’s the perfect amount of sweetness for those of us who don’t like too much sugar in our coffee. It’s also super easy to make and the ingredients are inexpensive 😊

I’ve tried quite a few creamers- some dairy, some non dairy and have been disappointed with the artificial taste of them. I’ve just been using creamer lately but needed something to give it some flavor and sweeten it just a little. This was perfect! Thanks!

SO GOOD! I've been trying different recipes for years trying to find one that doesn't have that sugar flavor that permeates the coffee and makes it undrinkable. This is the first one that met that standard! Very excited to incorporate this into my daily fall activities.

I made this this morning and it’s SO GOOD. Like others have said, I can’t get behind the “healthy” syrups that taste artificial. This really hits the spot without being too sugary. Quick question, though, does it have to be refrigerated?

This is going to save me so much money this year. I made the syrup and used in in cold brew and it is perfection and I’m obsessed!

This is amazing! So much better than the Starbucks pumpkin spice syrup and the taste is subtle and not overpowering. Def my new go to when I make my iced lattes/coffee

This is so yummy in my hot or cold coffee! I love that I get the pumpkin spice without the sweetness overload. Now I can choose what creamer I prefer and still get to add a pumpkin twist.

Made this for my coffee today and it was so delicious. I always love caramel sauce in my coffees but I've had to stop using it since they always contain high fructose corn syrup. I'm so excited to have found a festive alternative!

I made this syrup the other day and I am obsessed! I normally don't put any sweetness in my coffee, but this is just the right amount and makes my cold brew taste so delicious. I can't wait to try it in hot coffee too. I used full fat coconut milk because my store didn't have coconut cream and I didn't have any issues. I think it just took longer to form into a syrup, but that's okay!! Thanks so much for creating this recipe. I literally eat spoonfuls of it from the fridge...oops.

I've been wanting to make this for weeks, but I kept forgetting to get more coconut sugar at the store. I got some this week, and it was well worth the wait! YUM! I could honestly drink this straight out of the jar, but instead I mixed it with Vanilla Nut Pods and put it in my iced coffee. So good!

Finally made this syrup and it did not disappoint! So easy, delicious and perfect for fall! I love a touch of sweetness in my coffee so this mixed in with my nut pods has been a game changer - I will be using it all fall & winter long!

This syrup is so good! I love flavored lattes but find most to be too sweet. This syrup is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet, and now I can't wait to cozy up with a latte and a book! I only had full fat coconut milk and granular sugar on hand and had no issues :)

Oh my goodness!!!!!
You hit the PS nail on the head!!! Just LOVE this. Kudos to you for developing something with no artificial ingredients and not too sweet but still so spicy that screams fall and cool weather hot drink time🙌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
Thank you for this recipe!!

Made this today and it is fantastic I did switch out the pumpkin spice for apple pie spice since I am not a fan of pumpkin anything. It tasted just like apple pie. So delicious. Love your recipes. Thanks for all you do.

Love this, have shared it with all of my friends. I also add it to my oatmeal!

This was a game changer! Easy to prepare and so delicious!

This has absolutely made my mornings the last few weeks — so easy to make and tastes even better than a coffee shop PSL!! Definitely a fall staple of mine going forward, and the recipe yields such a large quantity I was able to make a jar for myself and a jar for a friend!

Did it yesterday and I love it! It’s just one more excuse to love fall🎃🥰🍂

So delicious! Not too sweet but the perfect taste of fall! Your recipes continue to amaze me!!!!

Amazing taste and easy to follow directions!! Must have in your fridge to save a lot of money on starbucks this year!

My days of $6 coffees with corn syrup and chemicals have become a very rare occasion. I, too, have been experimenting with at home knock-offs. Pumpkin spice? Check! This is aMAZING! Thank you!

Omg! This recipe is AMAZING! At first I thought it was going to be too sweet for me, but once I mixed it with the milk- Perfect! And I sent it to all my pumpkin spice loving friends and they’re all excited to try it.

Just made this for my lattes for the next few weeks! I used coconut milk because it was what I had, and it came out just fine! I suspect the consistency is a little thinner than if I had used cream, but can confirm it's still tasty and good.

I've been craving everything pumpkin this season. It's probably because fall actually seems to be lastly more than a week. After trying numerous creamers and following the blog for quite some time, I knew I had to try this syrup. It's absolutely delicious! It's so easy to make and makes the house smell delicious. I can't wait to seoe what else I can incorporate this syrup on - I'm thinking apples and pancakes, but the options are limitless.

I’ve been using this in our morning oatmeal and it’s SO GOOD!! Great to hold onto the last bits of fall through the colder months

I would eat this syrup off cardboard if I had to. It is so flipping good. I use it in coffee but I’m thinking it would make a wonderful topping for cinnamon rolls!! So.so.so.good!!!!

I made this on repeat last fall. Can’t wait to make again😄

I really like the flavor of the syrup!! Love this recipe!! Try it!!

I love this recipe! The flavor is so good. I made a batch in July when I was craving a pumpkin spice latte, but of course wasn't going to find one, and now it's a standard item I make.

Typically I don’t like anything in my coffee but plain milk but this syrup is delicious and adds so much flavor without being overly sweet. It’s so easy to make and it made enough for me to take some to work too! Will be making this again and again!

So easy to make and equally delicious! I could seriously eat this right out of the jar it’s so good.
I love how easy the recipe is, yet it has the perfect pumpkin spice flavor for an at home coffee (that’s dare I say better than Starbucks without any funny after taste).

Made this last week and it is amazing in coffee! We had it in hot and iced coffee and it was delicious. Exciting to have this on hand for fall.

I made this! It’s delicious and easy to make! Thank you for all your awesome recipes!

Made this today so good!! I brought some to the ladies in the office for their coffee and they loved it too!!

This is a game changer! I immediately broke my caffeine rule and had a late-afternoon coffee so I could put this syrup to use; I couldn’t wait until the morning to enjoy it. It was so worth it !

I use this almost everyday, year round. I love it! I haven’t even gone to get a pumpkin spice latte this year. This stuff is amazing! Thanks Madeline for the year round pumpkin spice lattes!

Can’t wait to start my mornings with at home PSL’s!!

Love this syrup! You get the pumpkin spice scent and taste without it being overly sweet. Just used it all up and am going to try the Gingerbread Latte syrup next.

Amazing easy to make recipe just perfect sweetness to my winter morning coffee I love it thank u 🙏

I love this! Thank you!! It’s fantastic!

I just made this. It taste so good. I will do coffee on the morning. Just one thing what to do with the test of the pumpkin? I hate to waste it

So good…like it better than Starbucks! Since I used dark brown sugar and it blended so well, I didn’t heat it up. Also added about 1/4 water and 1 tsp pumpkin spice emulsion. Made my iced coffee with 2 T of mixture and oat milk. Love it..thank you for the inspiration.

Wow this is SO good! I'm switching to this instead of starbucks pumpkin lattes. So much cheaper and healthier!

Have made this recipe multiple times. It's so delicious. Perfect in our morning lattes. Also, amazing on vanilla ice cream.

I've never had a pumpkin latte before so I have nothing to compare this recipe to, but I absolutely love it. I've already sent this recipe to my daughter and grandkids. They love it too. I also wanted to let you know that when I try to 2x or 3x the recipe it only changes the water and swerve, no other ingredient changes.
