<p>This smoky cod dish makes a great midweek meal – it's quick, low calorie and made in just one pan, which saves on washing up </p>

Harissa-crumbed fish with lentils & peppers

pouches cooked puy lentils

jar roasted red peppers,

black olives,

cod fillets(or another white fish)

breadcrumbs

½ small pack flat-leaf parsley, chopped

<p>Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6. Mix the lentils, peppers, olives, lemon zest, 2 tbsp oil and some seasoning in a <a href="https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/review/test-five-best-roasting-tins">roasting tin</a>. Top with the fish fillets. Mix the breadcrumbs, harissa and the remaining oil and put a few spoonfuls on top of each piece of fish. Bake for 12-15 mins until the fish is cooked, the topping is crispy and the lentils are hot. Scatter with the parsley and squeeze over the lemon wedges.</p>

Baked Salmon With Asparagus and Dill Sauce

(about 58 g) zest of Lemon

(about 6 g) minced Garlic clove

(about 16 g) chopped Dill

(about 16 g) chopped Fresh parsley

Lemon

Black pepper

397 g (about 26 ½) Asparagus

(about 41 g) Olive oil

& pepper

568 g (about 1 ½) Wild salmon

¼ teaspoon (about 2 g) Salt

(about 115 g) Whole milk yogurt

This speedy midweek supper is low in fat but big on flavour. Ready in just 20 minutes, the chilli, lime zest, spring onions and coriander give it Thai appeal

Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the salmon, skin side down, for about 5-6 mins until the skin is crispy and golden. Turn the salmon fillets carefully, then cook for a further 2 mins. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Tip the butter in the pan and, when melted, add the spring onions, chilli and lime zest to sizzle in the butter for 2 mins, then add the lime juice. Spoon the chilli and lime butter over the salmon. Scatter with the coriander and serve with boiled rice.

Air Fryer Fish Recipe

Tablespoons melted butter oil

lemon juice

lemon pepper seasoning

garlic powder

fine sea salt

paprika

black pepper

parsley,

Garnish- lemon slices or fresh chopped parsley, chervil and/or chives

Pat the fish fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush both sides of the fillets with melted butter or olive oil. Sprinkle with lemon juice.

In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon pepper, garlic, salt, paprika, black pepper and parsley. Generously season both sides of each fish fillet with the seasoning. Place fish on a plate or baking sheet while the air fryer preheats. 

Preheat the air fryer to 360 F. Once preheated, spray the basked with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange fish in the air fryer basket. (See notes for cooking from frozen.)

Close the air fryer basket and air fry for 6 to 14 minutes (see cook times below for specific fish).  If desired, with two minutes left of cooking time, open the basket and add a sliced lemon to each filet.

Close the basket and continue to cook for the remaining time or until the fish flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature reaches 140-145 F). 

Once cooled, store the fish in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
