Homemade Quinoa Milk

quinoa

water

dates

cinnamon

Cook the quinoa according to package directions.

Blend the quinoa with the water until well blended and almost smooth.

Strain the blended quinoa mixture using a cheesecloth or a strainer.

Pour the quinoa milk in a blender and blend with the dates and cinnamon.

Store the quinoa milk in a sealed container in the fridge for 3 or 4 days.

Pour the quinoa into a saucepan with the 2 cups of water.

Cook quinoa under low-medium heat until it begins to look translucent and swells in size (should take about 15 minutes).

Allow the quinoa to cool down completely and set aside.

Transfer the cooked quinoa into a blender with water, cinnamon, dates and vanilla.

Blend into a smooth consistency.

Pour the liquid into a jug or desired container.

Serve accordingly.
