Roasted Brussels sprouts in a sweet chili glaze, an awesome side! It&#x27;ll convert any brussels sprout haters.   They’re super-quick and simple to make and always so delicious.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Sweet Chili Sauce Recipe

brussels sprouts (stem trimmed and halved)

cooking oil

garlic (finely minced)

fish sauce or soy sauce

sweet chili sauce

Heat the oven to 400F. On a baking sheet, toss the brussels sprouts in cooking oil to coat evenly. Roast in the oven for 20 minutes, tossing them halfway so they cook evenly. Remove brussels sprouts from the oven and turn on oven broiler to high, with the oven rack positioned in the top third of the oven.

In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over the brussels sprouts, tossing to coat evenly.

Broil the brussels sprouts for 5 minutes or until the sugar in the chili sauce is bubbling and caramelizing. Watch them carefully so they don't burn! Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Healthy Roasted Brussel Sprouts

Brussels sprouts (organic)

garlic powder

sea salt

avocado oil

lemon wedge

Wash

Soak or wash Brussels sprouts.  In a bowl with water or under running water. Take off any dark leaves.

Pre-heat

Towel dry the sprouts before cutting and seasoning.

Trim and half. Remove the bottom part with a knife and half the sprouts, one by one. Save the loose leaves.

Season

Season. In a bowl, mix de sprouts, oil, garlic powder and salt. Do it carefully to avoid loosing leaves.

Arrange

Arrange the halved sprouts on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Leave some room between them.

Bake

Bake at 450ºF (225ºC) for 25 minutes or until you see they are golden enough for your liking.

Serve

Serve. Add pepperoncino to make it spicy and lemon zest if you like an acid note
