Seafood lasagna is bursting with all your favorite seafood flavors baked together in one pan! You will love the crab, scallops, and shrimp nestled in between cheesy lasagna layers and smothered in a delicious white sauce.

Seafood Lasagna

lasagna noodles, (cooked)

crab meat, (or imitation crab)

scallops, (quartered)

shrimp

mozzarella cheese

parmesan cheese

clam chowder

heavy whipping cream

lemon juice

salt

pepper

ricotta cheese

garlic (minced)

parsley

Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and prepare a 9X13-inch baking dish by spraying it with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, mix your crab meat, prepared scallops, and shrimp. Set aside

In another bowl, mix the shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Seafood, Lasagna, and Cheese

In a separate bowl, combine the clam chowder, heavy whipping cream, lemon juice, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper. Whisk together well.

Sauce

In a medium bowl add the ricotta cheese, egg, garlic, parsley, and salt. Whisk to combine.

Ricotta Cheese Mixture

To assemble, pour a thin layer of sauce into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Place a layer of cooked lasagna noodles over the sauce. Next, spread ⅓ of the ricotta mixture, ⅓ of the seafood mixture, then 1/2 cup of the shredded cheeses.

Repeat the process another two times finishing the lasagna with the remaining sprinkled cheese on top.

Lastly, top the lasagna with the remaining shredded cheese. Cover and bake, in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Uncover the lasagna and bake it for an additional 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 minutes before serving.

lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

lb crab meat

Parmesan cheese

Alfredo sauce

heavy cream

tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Prepare the Oven and Pasta

Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Seafood

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque, approximately 3-4 minutes. Add crab meat, season with salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes, and cook for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, 1 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and chopped parsley until well combined.

Assemble the Lasagna Layers

Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, then spread 1/3 of the cheese mixture over the noodles. Add 1/3 of the seafood mixture on top and drizzle with Alfredo sauce. Repeat this layering process two more times, finishing with noodles and Alfredo sauce on top.

Add Toppings and Bake

Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top layer. Add breadcrumbs for a crunchy texture. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.

Rest and Serve

Let the lasagna sit for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.

Gather

Gather and prep all ingredients and set the oven to 375°F.

Cook

Cook the lasagna noodles in salted water until just tender. Drain and lay flat on parchment paper lightly drizzled with oil to prevent sticking.

Sauté

In a large skillet, melt 1 Tbsp butter over medium heat. Sauté onion, celery, and garlic for 5-6 minutes, until softened. Stir in shrimp, imitation crab, spinach, lemon juice, and Cajun seasoning. Cook just until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from heat.

Combine

In a small bowl, stir together cottage cheese and parsley. Set aside.

Whisk

In a medium saucepan, melt ¼ cup butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Slowly pour in the milk, whisking constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-6 minutes.

Stir in Parmesan and Old Bay seasoning. The sauce should be silky and pourable.***

Layer

Grease a 9x13 baking dish. Spread a thin layer of white sauce on the bottom. Layer 3 noodles slightly overlapping, half of the seafood filling, dollops of cottage cheese mixture, ⅓ of the white sauce, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat the layers once more. Finish with the last 3 noodles, the remaining sauce, and the rest of the mozzarella.

Bake

Cover tightly with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes. Broil on high for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is golden.

Serve

Let the seafood lasagna rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Garnish with any leftover fresh parsley and enjoy.
