Sgroppino (an Italian Dessert Cocktail)

lemon sorbet

prosecco

vodka

Mint leaves

Scoop the sorbet into a large metal bowl. Add one-half of the Prosecco and whisk it around until the sorbet is melted into wine. Whisk in the vodka and remaining Prosecco.

Drink immediately, or pour into a jar and place in the freezer until ready to drink. The drink should be very slushy. Add mint leaves as a garnish.

The Sgroppino cocktail is a refreshing digestivo that combines lemon sorbet, prosecco, and vodka blended together with ice for a frozen treat that&#039;s great as a drink or 1dessert!

Sgroppino Cocktail

prosecco (chilled)

vodka (chilled)

lemon sorbet (frozen)

cubes ice (optional, plus more if desired)

mint

lemon

To a blender, add the prosecco, vodka, and lemon sorbet and blend.

If a thicker consistency is desired, add ice and blend until the desired consistency is reached.

Pour the sgroppino into coupe glasses or champagne flutes and garnish with mint leaves and lemon wedges.  Serve immediately and enjoy.
