This healthier for you Mint Chocolate Chip Shake is a nutrient-dense food and gets its gorgeous green color from an ample amount of spinach making it a creamy and delicious St. Patrick's Day Shamrock Shake.

Mint Chocolate Chip Shake

spinach

avocado

banana (about 125 grams),

mint extract (such as Simply Organic) or ¼ cup fresh mint leaves

In a high-speed blender, place the spinach, milk of choice, ice, avocado, banana, mint extract, and collagen or protein powder of choice if using).  Blend on high for 60-seconds or until well blended and creamy.

Optional: Add the cacao nibs or chocolate chips, pulse for 10 seconds.

Pour into two glasses and top with a few additional cacao nibs or mini chocolate chips.

This was delicious as is, but I added a little sweetener for my kids version and they loved it.

AMAZING! And without artificial color! I like it more minty so added a little more extract. Will make again. 🤤

This is such a great healthy alternative to the traditional Shamrock Shake. It doesn’t have too much of a sweet taste, so I had to add a little bit of maple syrup for my husband. Other than that, he loved it!!!

This Shamrock Protein Shake is absolutely delicious. Thick, creamy, and incredibly sweet. Full of vanilla flavor with mint freshness.

Shamrock Protein Shake

oat milk

banana

vanilla protein powder

hemp seeds

baby spinach

mint leaves (or 1/2 tsp mint extract)

Ice cubes (optional)

Place all ingredients in the blender. Note: add wet ingredients first for easier blending. Also, add in ice cubes, if using.

Mix everything at high speed until you get a smooth silky texture.

If the shake is too thick, add a little more liquid – milk or water. Blend again until everything is well combined.

Taste the shake and add additional sweetener if the shake is not sweet enough.

Transfer the shake into a glass.

Add toppings (optional): I used cacao nibs. Be creative here and add toppings you like.

Serve and enjoy!
