An easy one-dish recipe using uncooked pasta, raw sausage, pantry ingredients and fresh mozzarella that bakes into a cheesy, saucy Italian casserole with perfectly al dente pasta, browned sausage &#8220;meatballs&#8221; and gooey, melted cheese.

No-Boil, No-Brown Italian Sausage & Pasta Bake

oz orecchiette pasta (or something similar)

32 oz jar spaghetti

beef broth

water

garlic powder

salt

pepper

oregano

Italian sausage links (1.25 lbs or so)

oz fresh mozzarella balls

Fresh grated parmesan and chopped parsley (optional)

Easy and simplest way on how to make tart shells. They&#039;re flaky and buttery, suitable for both sweet and savoury tarts. It&#039;s my go-to recipe and I&#039;ve been using it for all my tarts. Do try!

How To Make Tart Shells

unsalted butter ((75 g), softened)

tbsp sugar

egg yolk (, room temperature)

tsp vanilla extract

all purpose flour ((130 g))

tsp sugar

tsp salt

Dough

Add butter and sugar into a bowl. Using a spatula, mix everything together. Now add in egg yolk and vanilla extract. Continue mixing. Finally add in flour and bring everything together into a dough.

Chill

Cover with cling film and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes or until it&#039;s manageable.

Assemble

Take a piece of dough and press it evenly into a 2.5 inch (6.5 cm) tart mould. Cut off excess dough with a knife. Using a fork, prick the base so that it doesn&#039;t puff up while baking. Repeat the same with the rest of the dough. Place them on a baking tray. Place them in the freezer for 10 minutes.

Bake

Bake in a preheated oven at 340ºF (170ºC) , using upper and lower heat, on the lowest rack for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely. Once cooled, remove the shells from the moulds by flipping them and tapping a bit on the back of the back of the base to help releasing them. They&#039;re ready to be used!

Savoury

Instead of 2 tbsp sugar, add 1 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp salt together with butter. Follow the same steps onwards for the rest of the recipe.

How to Make Tart Shells

Paleo &amp; AIP Plantain Taco Shells have only 3 nourishing ingredients -- so they&#39;re simple to make, delicious and better than corn! These tortillas are good for the body, gentle on the gut and beautiful for both Paleo and AIP diets.This tortilla recipe is also Gluten-free, and Vegan, depending on the fat you choose.

Paleo & AIP Plantain Taco Shells (no corn; 3 ingredients!)

plantains (medium ripe)

Tablespoons oil oil

sea salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Remove peel from plantain. Chop into small pieces.

Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender or food processor, for about 60 seconds. You may have to stop the blender a few times, scrape down the sides, and blend again. I find that a low speed works best.

Spoon 1/4 cup of the batter at a time onto parchment paper. Use the back of a wet spoon to smooth out batter, and create round tortilla circles about 5 inches wide and 1/8 inch think. This will make about 8 5&quot; tortillas.

Bake for 10 minutes, then flip, and then bake an additional 5 minutes. (The easiest way to flip them is: Remove the parchment paper with tortillas sticking to them, and set aside. Line baking sheet with second sheet of parchment. Flip the first piece upside down onto it, with tortillas sticking to it. Then just slowly peel the top layer of parchment off the tortillas. They&#39;ll now be upside down and ready to bake for the second time.)

You can enjoy them as soft taco shells, or make hard shell tacos by gently folding them into the shape of taco shells and hanging them over the oven rack, and baking an additional 4 minutes, or until firm. **Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning.**

This quick and easy ground turkey pasta comes together quickly in under 30 minutes, and is an easy dinner idea you’ll want to make on repeat!

Ground Turkey Pasta

(8-oz) medium-sized pasta shells (gluten free

olive oil (divided)

onion

zucchini

carrot

turkey

Italian seasoning

garlic

(24-oz) marinara sauce

cream cheese

cheese

basil

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt to taste, then cook the pasta 2-3 minutes short of the package instructions. Carefully ladle out ½ cup pasta water and set aside. Drain the pasta and set aside.

Meanwhile, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, zucchini and carrot, sprinkle with ½ teaspoon salt, then cook until softened, about 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Turn the heat to medium high, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, turkey, ¼ teaspoon salt and Italian seasoning. Break the turkey into small pieces, then cook until browned and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the marinara sauce, stir, cover and bring to a strong simmer. Reduce to a low simmer and cook, covered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the cream cheese, stirring until well incorporated. Add the drained pasta along with the pasta cooking water, stirring to combine. Simmer, uncovered, until the sauce thickens, about 3 minutes.

Serve sprinkled with parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.

Flakey, tender and delicious.  A perfect tart shell.
