This easy slow cooker steak recipe just about guarantees you will have a perfect beef  entree.  Let your crockpot turn even tougher cuts of meat into a tender and flavorful meal.

The Lazy Slow Cooker Steak

2-4 Steaks (I used NY strip that was on a great sale in the photo.)

Garlic

Steak/Worcestershire Sauce, divided (use your favorite)

Salt and Pepper (to taste)

For zero clean up, use a slow cooker liner, otherwise, coat lightly with oil or non-stick spray.&nbsp;

Fill the bottom of the slow cooker with 1 cup steak sauce of choice.  Place steak in slow cooker vessel on top of sauce.

Spread 1 Tablespoon minced garlic on each steak

spoon remaining ½ of steak sauce on top of steaks

Add salt and pepper if interested (I&nbsp;don't use either)

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours (preferred) or 4 hours on high, 

Nothing beats a tender steak dinner at home, and it doesn’t get any easier than flank steak in the slow cooker! With just minutes of prep, the steak cooks low and slow and turns out super tender. Serve steak strips with simple home-cooked sides and enjoy the leftovers for tacos, bowls, salads, and more.

Slow Cooker Flank Steak

steak seasoning

beef broth

Use an oval or rectangular slow cooker if possible (avoid a round slow cooker to allow beef to spread out)

Pour broth into bottom of slow cooker

Add beef to slow cooker

Sprinkle top of beef evenly with seasoning

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.

Remove steak and place it on a cutting board to rest for 15 minutes

Slice steak against the grain into ¼ - ½ inch thick slices and serve
