Easy soup maker lentil soup

Put the stock, lentils, carrots and leek into a soup maker, and press the ‘chunky soup’ function. Make sure you don’t fill it above the max fill line. The soup will look a little foamy to start, but don’t worry – it will disappear once cooked.

Once the cycle is complete, check the lentils are tender, and season well. Scatter over the parsley to serve.

Soup Maker Mushroom Soup

milliliters (2 tbsp) butter

7.5 milliliters (½ tbsp) oil

onion,

garlic cloves,

thyme

milliliters (¼ cup) white wine

(3 tbsp) flour

(¾lbs) mushrooms

chicken stock

beef stock cubes,

milliliters (½ cup) double cream

salt and pepper,

parsley,

Quick Option

Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan and gently cook the onion until soft and translucent. 

Add the garlic and thyme and cook for 2 minutes. 

Turn up the heat and pour in the wine, letting it sizzle for two minutes. 

Turn off the heat and sprinkle in the flour, stirring vigorously to avoid any lumps from forming. 

Transfer the contents to the Tower Soup Maker and add the rest of the ingredients, except for the cream, seasoning and parsley. 

Hit the Smooth Soup button and let the machine do its magic, which would take 20-25 minutes. 

Stir in the cream, season to taste and garnish with parsley. 

Serve with your favourite crusty bread and white wine. Enjoy!

I love making fridge vegetable soup, in other words soup using all the vegetables that need using from my fridge

My soups usually have a bit of a kick to them, so Sweet Poato &amp; Chilli, Leek &amp; Yellow Pepper (although I pre-roast the veggies for that) and my current favourite Chicken &amp; Sweetcorn.

We are big on soups in my household and my son really enjoys them. This soup maker would cut the time it takes me to make it.
