Air Fryer Chicken Fried Steak

lbs cubed steak

c Panko bread crumbs

dry mustard

c flour

tsp pepper

salt

tsp paprika (smoked is best)

c milk

olive oil spray

Spray air fryer basket with non stick spray and preheat to 360 degrees.

Slice cubed steak into strips and season each piece with salt and pepper

In a bowl or plate mix together your flour, dry mustard, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, and smoked paprika.

In a different bowl whisk together your milk and egg. On a third plate spread our your Panko bread crumbs.

Use a fork and press into flour mixture, shaking off excess. Then dip into egg mixture and finally press into breadcrumbs on both sides. Shake off a bit of excess and put into air fryer basket.

Do this with enough pieces to fill basket without overlapping and leaving a bit of space in between them so they crisp up properly. Spray with olive oil spray lightly.

Close and cook at 360 degrees for 11 minutes total. Open and flip pieces after 7 minutes. Continue cooking for 4 minutes and then check to see if you want them to crisp up more. If so add a few more minutes until they&#039;re done to your liking.

Keto Mozzarella Sticks

pcs String cheese

almond flour

Coconut powder

tbsp Powdered Parmesan cheese

tsp Thyme

tsp Oregano

Garlic powder

kosher salt (if desired)

Beat 1 egg in a small bowl. Set aside.

Place almond flour in a medium bowl, beaten egg in another bowl, and coconut powder also in a different bowl. Add parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl with coconut flour, mix thoroughly. Add thyme and oregano to the bowl with almond flour, also mix thoroughly.

Meanwhile, roll cheese strings in a bowl of coconut flour first, make sure to coat all sides. Then carefully transfer cheese strings to bowl with beaten egg, then transfer to the bowl with almond flour. Lightly press all sides with your finger to make sure the crumbs stick to the cheese strings. Freeze for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in the pan. When it reaches 350 degrees F, deep fry in hot oil until browned on all sides. Enjoy with your favorite tomato sauce.

These cheesy, crispy sticks are cooked in just 15 minutes and make a perfect lunch box snack for you or the kids.

Breaded Tofu Strips

extra firm tofu

cornstarch

water

Tablespoons of soy sauce

breadcrumbs

yeast

vegetable oil

Drain and press the tofu and cut the block into strips the size and length of a finger.

In a medium bowl, combine the cornstarch, water, and soy sauce and whisk thoroughly with a fork.

Pour breadcrumbs, nutritional yeast, and salt onto a plate and mix thoroughly.

Heat oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Dip the tofu strips into the cornstarch mixture until evenly coated and immediately press into the breadcrumbs until all sides of the tofu are completely covered.

Once the oil is hot, lay the tofu on the pan and cook until it turns golden brown, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate and serve with bbq sauce.

Charcoal garfish sticks recipe

garfish, butterflied, boneless (ask your fishmonger)

achiote (annatto paste,

unsalted butter, chopped

milliliters sherry vinegar

Step 1

For the garfish, set them down on a cutting board with the head to the left and tail to the right. Make a cut just behind the head to remove the head and collars together. Cut the collars off the head and set aside for another use, such as to make fish stock. Keep head to one side, ready for assembly.

Step 2

Cut butterflied fillets into 2cm-thick slices until you reach the tail. You will have approx 6-7 stacked squares of fillet when finished, depending on the size of the fish.

Step 3

Working one at a time, thread a tail onto a skewer and push down to almost the end. Then add each stacked square of fillet to the skewer in the order in which they were cut, finishing with the head right at the end of the skewer. Chill the skewers for 10-15 minutes to cool the fish down after having worked with it, as it can take time to thread the fillets on carefully.

Step 4

Meanwhile, make the achiote vinaigrette. Place the achiote in a food processor and pulse to a fine crumb. Transfer crumb to a large saucepan with the butter and set over a medium heat. While the butter is bubbling, whisk the achiote to ensure it doesn’t stick to the base of the pan or become lumpy. After 7-8 minutes, the butter will begin to burn to a nutty colour and aroma. Remove from heat and slowly add sherry vinegar, being careful that it doesn’t overflow.

Step 5

Once the pan has settled, add the mushroom soy and keep warm to serve. Don’t strain the vinaigrette; the coarse crumble is chewy and absolutely delicious. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill on medium. Brush skewers on both sides with a little grapeseed oil and season well with salt flakes.

Step 6

Place skewers on grill and, without wanting to apply any colour, allow the smoke from the coals to gently cook the flesh of the garfish. It will take about 4-5 minutes, depending on the heat of the coals. You can always cook a little more, but please leave some life in the garfish, as they don’t like too much heat. Spoon the warm achiote vinaigrette over the garfish and serve immediately.
