Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

lemon juice

Wash the strawberries and cut the stem off each of them.

Combine two cups of water with the sugar and strawberries in a large bowl. Stir the ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved.

Pour the mixture into a blender and blend on high until smooth.

Pour the strawberry mixture into a pitcher and add the remaining water as well as the lemon juice.

Stir the lemonade together, serve, and enjoy!

Easy Strawberry Lemonade

Add the strawberries, sugar and 2 cups warm water to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain through fine mesh sieve into pitcher, using a spatula to push the liquid through (discard the seeds; this takes a few minutes to complete).

Add 4 cups* cold water and the fresh squeezed lemon juice. Add ice to the pitcher and serve. If desired, garnish with extra strawberries and fresh mint sprigs. (Spiked variation: By the glass, serve 1 cup of this strawberry lemonade with ¼ cup vodka or 3 tablespoons gin.)

This fresh strawberry lemonade recipe is the perfect drink for a summer party or to make after you get home from a day of strawberry picking.

Strawberry Lemonade

Country Time Lemonade, (follow directions on the container to make 2 quarts)

Lemon, (Sliced)

Strawberries, (Sliced)

In a large pitcher make 2 quarts Country Time Lemonade according to package directions. Place in the freezer to chill while making the strawberry simple syrup.

In a medium saucepan add 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, and sliced strawberries. Cook over medium-high and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and let simmer for 30 minutes, or until strawberries are soft and the liquid is a deep red color.

Strain the strawberries using a mesh strainer into your pitcher. Press down on the strawberries gently, but make sure to not press too hard. You don’t want any strawberry chunks in your lemonade.

Let the strawberry simple syrup cool for 15 minutes.

Once cooled add strawberry simple syrup to the cold Country Time Lemonade.

Serve over ice, sliced lemons, and sliced strawberries!
