The perfect tequila-lime cocktail — a combo margarita and mojito in one drink, with fresh lime and mint. Cool and refreshing!

Tequila Lime Mojitarita Cocktail

mint leaves (plus more for garnish)

lime juice

sugar

silver tequila

Cold soda water water

lime

Tear the mint leaves into pieces and put 1/2 cup into a cocktail shaker with 1/4 cup lime juice, 1 tablespoon sugar, and 4 ounces tequila. Add crushed ice and shake well.

Strain over ice into high ball glasses and top off with soda water. Garnish with mint leaves and lime slices.

Empty the shaker and repeat the steps to make the remaining 2 drinks.

BLUEBERRY AND PEACH VODKA SPRITZER

tbsp fresh chopped ginger

Vodka

Divide up the fruit

Divide the peach slices, fresh ginger, fresh basil, and the blueberries into each glass (this recipe makes about 4-drinks worth).

Muddle

Muddle the peaches, ginger, basil, and blueberries together in each glass until some of the juices come out.

Fill Glasses

Pour

Pour a shot of vodka into each glass and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.

Slowly pour sparkling water into each glass.

Add in more fresh blueberries and garnish with a slice of lime, peach, and more fresh basil leaves.

Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill the shaker with ice. Cover and shake vigorously 12-15 times.

Fill a small tumbler with ice and double-strain into the cocktail into the glass. Garnish with a fresh sage leaf.

My prayers are with them and understand what they are going through - one of my sons was diagnosed with llc 6-years a go and so far has been able to aboid chemo.  He told the doctor he has 5 kids to raise and ever since his family is living life as if everyday is the last and know that they will always have these memories.  One of his brothers is a match if the time comes that he needs the bone marrow.    Praying that he never does.
