Meat Lover’s Pizza

(28 oz/796 ml) plum tomatoes

recipe Pizza Dough

(200 g) grated mozzarella cheese

bacon,

prosciutto, torn

ham, torn

(10 g) chopped fresh chives

Boston lettuce, thinly sliced

(25 g) arugula

green onion, thinly sliced

Place a pizza stone or inverted baking sheet on the lowest rack of the oven. Preheat to 450°F (230°C).

Place the tomatoes in a strainer over a bowl and split them in half to drain away the liquid. Keep the tomato juice for another use.

In another bowl, crush the tomatoes using your hands. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.

Divide the dough into 4 pieces. On a lightly floured surface, roll out 1 piece into an 8-inch (20 cm) disc. Place on a sheet of parchment paper. Repeat with the remaining dough.

Spread the crushed tomatoes onto each disc and sprinkle with the cheese. Bake the pizzas with the parchment paper, one at a time, on the pizza stone for 10 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.

Remove from the oven, top with a mixture of the meats and greens or let guests choose their own toppings. Drizzle with olive oil.

Made in under a half hour, the combination of sweet peaches, savory cheese, and salty prosciutto is always a summertime favorite!

Prosciutto Peach Pizza

pizza dough

extra virgin olive oil

thyme leaves

garlic, chopped

chili flakes

honey

fig preserves

mozzarella cheese

gouda cheese

fontina cheese

prosciutto

peaches, thinly sliced

balsamic vinegar

basil

1. Preheat the oven to 450° F.2. On a lightly floured surface, push the dough out until it&#39;s thin (about a 10-12 inch circle). Transfer the dough to a baking sheet. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil, then sprinkle with thyme, garlic, and chili flakes. Add 1 teaspoon honey and the fig preserves, gently rubbing around the surface of the dough.3. Add the all 3 cheeses. 4. Toss the peaches with 1 teaspoon honey and balsamic vinegar. Arrange the peaches over the cheese, then scatter around the prosciutto.5. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling. Remove from the oven and top with two big handfuls of fresh basil. Slice and enjoy!

This pizza was absolutely fabulous!!!! Not only was it super easy but it was tasty!

This pizza is unimaginably delicious! I did not have all the right cheeses or the fig preserves, but I just used what I had and it was outrageously good! There were no leftovers in sight! Baked it in a pizza oven, yum!

Made it exactly like the recipe. Epic summer treat and possibly the best pizza of my life! Absolutely delicious study in contrasts: sweet, hot, herbal, umami, juicy, crisp. Don't skip any part of this masterpiece.

I don't even have words for how much I loved this flavour combo. Salty, spicy, sweet, cheesy,  herby . . . maybe my favourite homemade pizza of all time (and I make a lot of pizza). The only omission was fresh thyme but I didn't miss it, the basil was enough. Thanks for a superior recipe!

Delicious pizza. We have a wood burning pizza oven and have been experimenting with different combinations. This is one of the best combinations I’ve tried. So good!!!! Going sailing this weekend and will use this combo with “pre-purchased” flatbread.
