My quick and easy pan-seared swordfish is exactly what you need for a simple but delightfully tasty weeknight seafood dinner! It’s lightly seasoned with a buttery lemon pepper sauce and it’s on the table in no time at all!

Pan Seared Swordfish

swordfish

lemon pepper

tsp salt

Tbsp olive oil ((extra virgin))

lemon juice

butter

Tbsp parsley ((optional - fresh, chopped))

Prepare your swordfish steaks by patting them dry with paper towels, then season both sides with lemon pepper and salt.

heat

Heat a skillet or non-stick frying pan with the olive oil over medium-high heat until the oil is shimmering and just beginning to smoke.

sear

Add the swordfish steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

serve

Remove the swordfish to a plate and add the lemon juice into the pan juices. Turn off the heat and add optional butter and parsley until the butter is melted. Stir and serve over the swordfish steaks.

Air Fryer Swordfish Steaks are perfectly cooked, seared on the outside, and moist on the inside. This recipe is ready in 10 minutes, great for a quick and easy weeknight dinner!

Air Fryer Swordfish

olive oil

honey

soy sauce

lemon zest

parsley (chopped)

thyme (chopped)

chopped garlic

salt

black pepper

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk olive oil, honey, soy sauce, lemon zest, parsley, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.

Reserve 1 tablespoon of the marinade to pour over top of the cooked swordfish. Set aside.

Place swordfish in a ziplock bag and pour the marinade over top.  Seal the bag and marinate for 30 minutes to 8 hours.

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/204°C.  Place the marinated swordfish in your air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, flipping at the halfway point.  Fish is done when it reaches 145 degrees.

Spoon over the reserved sauce and enjoy!
