Taco Spaghetti is fast, easy, and comes together in 30 minutes or less - all in one pot. The juice from the tomatoes and the added liquid cooks the spaghetti to perfection and creates its own taco-seasoned sauce. Tasty, satisfying, and delicious, you can even make baked spaghetti pie with the leftovers. That is, if you have any!

One Pot Taco Spaghetti

beef

onion

chicken broth (or water)

(10 ounce) cans Ro*Tel diced tomatoes with green chiles (undrained)

spaghetti (broken in halves)

tomato sauce

Homemade Taco Seasoning (or 1 packet store bought)

Salt and black pepper

Mexican Cheese Blend (shredded)

roma tomato (diced, for garnish)

scallions (chopped, for garnish)

Sour cream (for serving)

In a Dutch oven or stockpot over medium high heat, add ground beef and onion and cook until browned, about 3 to 5 minutes, breaking up any clumps with a wooden spoon. Drain well if desired.

Stir in broth or water, diced tomatoes and juice, spaghetti, tomato sauce, and taco seasoning. Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover, and simmer until pasta is cooked through, about 11-15 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure noodles are not clumping together.

Remove from heat. Taste for seasonings and add more salt and pepper if desired. Top with cheese and cover until melted, about 2 minutes.&nbsp;Serve immediately, garnished with tomato scallions, and sour cream, if desired.

Easy Taco Spaghetti Recipe

butter

yellow onion, diced

green bell pepper, diced

taco seasoning

(19 ounce) can Rotel tomatoes

spaghetti

chicken broth

Mexican cheese

Cilantro,

Green onions,

Melt the butter in a deep, large skillet. Add the ground beef, onions, and bell peppers. Cook until the ground beef is browned, about 5 minutes. Drain excess fat from the ground beef.

Add the taco seasoning, Rotel, spaghetti, and chicken broth to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the spaghetti is cooked to al dente.

Remove the skillet from the heat, sprinkle the cheese over the top, then cover until the cheese is melted. Top with cilantro and green onions. Serve and enjoy!

Yellow Onion (diced)

Taco Seasoning (1 oz)

oz Spaghetti Noodles (uncooked)

Water

oz Cheddar Cheese (shredded)

Cilantro (chopped)

Brown the ground beef with the diced onions in a large skillet over medium high heat.  Break up the beef as it browns.  Cook until the onions are soft and the beef is no longer pink.  Drain off any excess grease.

Stir in the taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, spaghetti noodles and water.  Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat.  Cover, reduce the heat to low and cook on low for 15 minutes until the noodles are cooked through.

Stir in half of the shredded cheese.  Cover and let sit until the cheese melted (approximately 1 minute).

Turn off the heat.  Serve warm topped with the remaining shredded cheese and cilantro.  Enjoy!

lb ground beef/chicken/turkey

chipotle pepper

Diced tomatoes and green chilies (Ro Tel)

tomato paste

cheddar cheese (grated)

pepper jack cheese (grated)

Cook ground meat of choice in a Dutch oven or large pot over medium high heat until browned, 3-5 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and ground chipotle.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste, uncooked spaghetti and 3 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer until pasta has cooked, about 15 minutes.

Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese and cilantro.

(259 g) chunky salsa, (mild, medium, or hot)

beef broth

(113 g) Monterey Jack cheese, (shredded)

cilantro, (chopped (for garnish))

Cook ground beef and onion.

In a large Dutch oven or pot with a lid, cook the ground beef and diced onion over medium heat for 8–10 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Drain any excess grease.

Stir in garlic. Add taco seasoning.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add taco seasoning and mix well to coat the meat.

Pour in tomatoes, salsa, and beef broth. Bring to boil.

Pour in the diced tomatoes (with juice), salsa, and beef broth. Stir to combine and bring to a boil over medium heat.

Add spaghetti. Cook.

Once boiling, add the spaghetti. Break it in half to fit into the pot if needed, arranging it in a crisscross pattern. Press the noodles under the liquid, reduce heat to a simmer, and cover. Cook for 15–20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent sticking. Cover the pot after each stir.

Remove from heat. Stir in cheese.

Remove from heat and gradually stir in the Monterey Jack cheese, adding a little at a time until fully melted and smooth.

Garnish and serve.

Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.

This was fantastic! Made exactly as directed with a whole package of taco seasoning and everyone raved about it! Will be on my rotation for sure!!!!!!!

OK.....I think this would be fantastic as is but like with everything I cook, I add extra ingredients,
I added extra garlic, because why not and I'm 2% Italian plus a can of black beans rinsed, a can of corn drained. Oh, I also used a can of hot Rotel cause my roommate lives for hot food.
Soooooo quick and easy to make too!
This is a keeper and I know I'll be making this many many many more times in my future. Highly recommend!!!

I've already made Taco Spaghetti so many times I lost count for me and roommate I  have suggested it to friends and family to my surprise they haven't made it yet. I tell them it only takes 30 minutes to make. They say it looks good with recipe I've sent them. I can't wait to hear someone made.
