tuna deviled eggs

These Tuna Deviled Eggs are creamy and delicious. Made with hard-boiled eggs, tuna, creamy mayo, Dijon, red and green onions, relish, herbs, garlic, hot sauce, salt and pepper. Perfect for a mid-day snack and great for using up leftover hardboiled eggs from Easter. 

Tuna Deviled Eggs

eggs, hardboiled

tuna,

green onion, chopped, half

mayo, more for creamier texture

dill pickle relish

red onion

dill

Dijon mustard

garlic powder

paprika

hot sauce

salt and pepper,

Slice the eggs in half, pop the yolks out into a large mixing bowl and fork mash.

To the mixing bowl, add the tuna, half of the green onions, mayo, relish, red onion, dill, mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.

Put mixture into a piping bag or a resealable plastic bag.  Squeeze the mixture to one corner of the bag and snip off the corner of the bag.  Use this to pipe the mixture back into the egg halves.

Top each egg with remaining green onions.

Tuna Salad Deviled Eggs

albacore

tbsp red onion (minced)

light mayo (use compliant mayo for whole30)

red wine vinegar

chives

salt and pepper (to taste)

Red wine vinegar

In a medium bowl combine the egg yolks with mayo and mash.

Add tuna, red onion and red wine vinegar.

Scoop heaping spoonfuls of the tuna salad into the 16 halved eggs. Garnish with chives.

Delicious! I love the Classic Deviled Eggs but was looking for a different twist.  I had 6 boiled eggs so used one 7oz can tuna, doubled the red onion (because we love onion) and used Miracle Whip Light.  They were so good! Next time I'll add diced pickle because I like pickle in my tuna.

Great, it turned out good. I just didn’t make enough.

I didn't think anything would be better than my mom's deviled eggs, but these are amazing!

The flavor of these eggs was nothing to brag about.  I followed the recipe exactly. Next time, Ill stick to just deviled eggs sans tuna. It was a distraction to me and not a very good one.
BTW, I LOVE tuna and I LOVE deviled eggs, but the flavors of both don't marry well on my taste buds!

These are amazing! They are also the only kind of deviled egg I will make. I've been making them for about two years now.

This is also good with smoked trout. :) 

I made these tonight and served with the bean, bacon, and spinach soup. I love these eggs! I love deviled eggs and tuna salad, so this was a perfect combo.

I made this today for lunch and it was excellent!

These are fantastic.  I am not a huge tuna can but these aren't in your face.
