Make this deli-style tuna salad to add to bread, a salad, or eat alone. It contains the perfect blend of chopped veggies, seasonings and mayo.

Deli Style Tuna Salad Recipe

tuna

mayonnaise

tbsp. Miracle Whip

tbsps. red onion (chopped)

tbsps. celery (chopped)

onion powder

garlic powder

tsp black pepper

tsp kosher salt

Prepare veggies

On a cutting board chop veggies into small chunks. You can cut them according to your preference. We prefer chunkier.

Drain tuna

Add drained tuna, mayonnaise, miracle whip, veggies, and spices to a medium bowl. Mix to combine.

Serve

Add tuna to an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

The most delicious tuna salad you will ever eat.  It&#039;s full of sweet craisins, crunchy celery, and green apple and loaded with chopped pecans!

Sweet Tuna Salad

oz Tuna in water (I like solid white albacore)

c Green Apple (diced)

c Pecans (chopped)

c Celery (chopped)

c Craisins (chopped)

c Light Mayonnaise

Drain tuna.  Add all ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.

Serve on bread, crackers or lettuce cups.

There’s a reason I’ve been making this easy tuna salad week after week for years. It’s healthy and delicious and made with the simplest of salad ingredients that you’ve probably nearly always got in your fridge. Try it – I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

Our favourite easy tuna salad

lettuce (or similar fresh green leaves)

tomatoes (chopped)

cucumber (sliced)

beetroot ((canned

cheese

avocado

carrot (grated or finely sliced (optional))

onion ((raw))

walnuts (crushed)

extra virgin olive oil

balsamic glaze

bread salt

Start by placing the fresh green leaves in the bottom of 2 big wide bowls.

Divide the tuna between the 2 bowls, then add all the other ingredients (apart from the walnuts and onions) next to each other in little piles.

Scatter the onion over the tuna and the walnuts over all the ingredients in the bowls.

Drizzle over the olive oil and balsamic glaze.

Serve with the toasted bread and mayonnaise (if you like).

A 10-minute easy tuna salad made with the simplest of ingredients, but you won't believe how delicious it is!

Easy tuna salad

Easy to make recipe for homemade tuna fish empanadas made with a filling of tuna fish, onions, bell peppers, olives, capers, paprika, and oregano.

Tuna fish empanadas

bell peppers (red and green, sliced)

garlic

paprika

oregano

olives (sliced)

capers

lemon juice

Salt and pepper

egg (lightly whisked for egg wash)

Cilantro jalapeño yogurt dip

Creamy avocado sauce

Avocado cilantro mayonnaise dipping sauce

Heat the oil in a large frying pan, add the onions, peppers, crushed garlic, and paprika.  Cook until golden the onions and peppers are soft and start to brown, about 15-20 minutes.

Add the tuna fish, mix and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir as needed.

Add the oregano, sliced olives, capers, and lemon juice. Mix well, taste and add salt/pepper to taste. Cook for a few minutes, then remove from heat and let the tuna fish mix cool down before using to fill the empanadas.

For the tuna fish filling:

Place a large spoonful of the tuna fish filling on the center of each empanada disc.

Fold the empanada discs and gently seal the edges with your fingers. Twist and fold the edges of the empanadas with your fingers. You can also use a fork to press down and seal the edges.

Chill the empanadas for at least an hour, this will help them seal better and prevent them for opening while baking.

Pre-heat the oven to 400F (200C).

Brush the empanadas with the egg wash before baking; this helps them achieve that nice golden finish when baked.

Bake the empanadas for 18-20 minutes or until golden on top.

Serve the empanadas alone or with a dipping sauce.

This Air Fryer Tuna Melt can be made with your fave tuna salad or my quick no-chop recipe! Either way, it makes a delicious, cheddar cheesy, melty sandwich you can cook in your air fryer in only 8 minutes!

Air Fryer Tuna Melt

of tuna fish packed

tablespoons dill pickle relish, drained

teaspoon garlic powder

teaspoon onion powder

teaspoon fine sea salt

teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

mustard

sandwich bread

mayonnaise butter

cheddar cheese

Make tuna salad

Add all tuna salad ingredients to a bowl and stir until combined. More details and full recipe for Lazy No-Chop Tuna Salad here! You can also use your own tuna salad recipe.

Assemble sandwich: 

First, cover one side of bread with the mayo or room temp butter. Place that piece of bread into the air fryer, mayo side down. Next, put the cheese slices on the bread, taking care that the cheese doesn&#8217;t go over the edges of the bread. Add 1/2 cup of tuna salad on top of the cheese and use a spoon to push it out to each edge of the bread. Finally, take the last pieces of bread and coat one side in mayonnaise, just like the other side. Add that piece of bread to the top of the sandwich, mayo side up. 

Cook &amp; serve

Shut the air fryer basket and set the air fryer to cook at 380F for 8 minutes, flipping the sandwich halfway through. The tuna melt is done when you see melty cheese and golden brown edges to your preference! Remove from air fryer and cut in half on a cutting board. Repeat for as many tuna melts as you need. I recommend cooking only one tuna melt at a time if you&#8217;re using the basket style air fryer.

Easy and tasty. Be careful when flipping  to keep them from sliding apart. But that noted very good.
