We love having this turkey cheeseball out for a little laugh and delicious appetizer before the big meal! He is the perfect turkey cheeseball decoration for your Thanksgiving table.

garlic powder

onion powder

pecans

pretzel sticks

whopper candy

beef jerky stick

candy eyes

Mix all ingredients other than the pecans together...

Mix all ingredients other than the pecans together until well combined, I use my Kitchenaid stand mixer. With damp hands roll the mixture into a ball and then roll in chopped pecans. Wrap it in wax paper and put it in the fridge to chill and firm up a bit.

Decorate: To make the turkey “feathers” stick your pretzel sticks into the back 1/2 of the cheese ball. To create mr. gobblers head take a stick of beef jerky and “glue” a whopper candy on top with melted chocolate or icing. You can see in the video I put melted chocolate into a plastic bag and then clipped the end. I find that the melted chocolate creates a very strong “glue” once it is dried. Sometimes I even attach the whopper and then put it in the fridge to get it nice and attached before I move on to the rest of the face. Then attach the nose and eyes also with the chocolate. We made the gobbler by cutting a little strip of fruit roll up and then laying it over the candy corn, no need for glue. See the photos below for a step-by-step photo tutorial or the video above!

Turn your Thanksgiving table into a festive feast with this adorable turkey cheese ball! Easy to make and delicious to eat with cream cheese, nuts, and pretzels. 

Turkey Cheeseball

cream cheese

cheddar cheese

walnuts

pretzels (round for the wings and feet)

breadstick or large pretzel stick (for the neck)

cheddar

red candy

parsley

Take out the cream cheese 1 hour before cooking. If you don&#39;t have time, place it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Whisk the cream cheese in a bowl, add the grated cheddar, salt, garlic powder, and chopped parsley. Stir the mixture with a spatula, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Form the cooled cheese mixture, roll into a ball, wrap in cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 40 minutes to stabilize.

Break a thick breadstick or pretzel stick in half. Melt white chocolate in the microwave and spread on the pretzel stick. Attach the turkey&#39;s eyes, nose and beak. 

Dip the cooled cheese ball in chopped nuts and place in the center of a serving plate. Insert neck and place four round pretzels as the wings and feet. Form feathers using pretzel sticks. 

Serve with crackers and garnish with fresh parsley.
