I put the dry ingredients in a gallon size ziploc bag, added the cauliflower and shook it up. Then added the milk. It coated very well. I sprayed the parchment paper with cooking spray.

They crisped well. After 10 min in the oven I rotated the cauliflower with tongs. They cooked for a total of 18 minutes.

Cauliflower Florets ((900 grams))

Soy Milk ((240 milliliters)

All Purpose Flour ((93 grams))

Tablespoons Cornstarch

Tablespoon Garlic Powder

Tablespoon Onion Powder

Salt

Black Pepper

Panko Breadcrumbs

Vegan Buffalo Sauce ((360 milliliters))

Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, add soy milk, all purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and black pepper and whisk it into a batter.

In a second bowl, add panko breadcrumbs, salt and pepper and mix together.

Add cauliflower florets to the batter and toss the cauliflower in the batter until all the florets are coated.

Then transfer the florets, in batches, to the breadcrumbs bowl and gently toss them in the breadcrumbs until they are coated on all sides.

Place the coated cauliflower florets onto the prepared baking tray.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Remove the cauliflower from the oven and place it into a large bowl.

Add vegan buffalo sauce and toss the cauliflower in the sauce until all the pieces are well coated.

Transfer the cauliflower back to the parchment lined baking tray and return to the oven to bake for a final 10 minutes.

Serve topped with a sprinkle of chopped chives and with some vegan ranch dressing to dip.

Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower {Vegetarian}

Cut cauliflower into uniform medium pieces.

Microwave buffalo sauce and butter until the butter has melted (~20 seconds). Stir to combine.

Add the cauliflower. Gently stir until all the nooks and crannies are coated with the sauce.

Sprinkle half of the panko and celery seed on top and stir everything around. Add the rest of the panko and celery seed and stir to coat.

Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil and place half of the batch in. Don&#x27;t overcrowd the basket or things will get soggy instead of crispy.

Cook at 370 degrees F for 6 minutes, and then flip and cook for an additional 2-4 depending on the size of your florets. Serve with your favorite dip

Then add the cauliflower florets and toss in the batter until they are evenly coated.

Spread cauliflower out on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until fork tender, gently stirring halfway through.

Mix Sauce

While cauliflower is cooking, mix together the hot sauce, oil, and maple syrup in a small bowl. Set aside.

Once cauliflower is cooked, transfer it to a large mixing bowl and toss with the prepared hot sauce

Bake Again

Use a slotted spoon to transfer the cauliflower back to the baking sheet and return to the oven for 2–3 minutes or until sauce is bubbling. Serve hot.

If you are baking, preheat the oven to 375° F.

Melt the vegan butter in a mug in the microwave, then whisk in the buffalo sauce.

Holding by the stem, dip each floret in the butter/buffalo sauce mixture, getting most of the floret coated in sauce. It&#x27;s fine if a bit of the stem doesn&#x27;t get saucy. Hold the floret over the mug until it pretty much stops dripping. A few drips are OK, but if it&#x27;s raining sauce, your panko is going to get clumpy and stop sticking as well.

Dredge the dipped floret in the panko/salt mixture, coating as much as you like, then place in the air fryer. No need to worry about a single layer. Just place it in there.

To air fry: Cook at 350° F (do not preheat) for 14-17 minutes, shaking gently a few times (see note), and checking their progress when you shake. Your cauliflower is done when the florets are a little bit browned.

To bake: Arrange the coated florets in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 375° F for 30-35 minutes, until the coating browns slightly.
