The Best Masala Chai (spiced milk tea | dairy-free)

water

soy milk*

cardamom**

black pepper

turmeric powder

g jaggery (gur) sugar***

black tea bags

ginger

cinnamon stick

fennel seeds

heat

Heat up a saucepan on high heat and add all ingredients in the saucepan.

boil

Bring milk tea to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 3 minutes while stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Occasionally gently press the tea bags against the pan when stirring.

squeeze

Squeeze the liquid out of the tea bags by taking them out of the tea and gently pressing them against the saucepan, and remove the tea bags from the saucepan.

serve

Serve the tea using a fine mesh strainer.

froth

Optional: froth 1/4 mug of soy milk using a milk frother (linked is the one I use) and pour it evenly into the drinks.

THE BEST MASALA CHAI (spiced milk tea | dairy-free)

This comforting Golden Milk can warm you from the inside out on those dreary grey days! Play around with the spices until you find your perfect mix!

Golden Milk

½ cups of whole plant-based milk

maple syrup (agave will work)

vanilla extract

turmeric

cinnamon

⅛ teaspoon of ground ginger

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, heat the plant-based milk, maple syrup (or agave), vanilla extract, ground turmeric, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and pinch of black pepper, and whisk regularly for about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and serve when it’s hot to drink but not yet boiling.

Perfect Kiwi Recipe for Beginners (Lose Belly Fat Fast)

tbsp ground flaxseed (flaxseed meal)

Blend all ingredients

Place kiwi, banana, spinach, ground flax seed and almond milk in a blender or food processor. You can use any dairy-free milk like these homemade cashew milk or oat milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Serve and enjoy immediately

Serve your kiwi smoothie dividing it into 2 big glasses or smoothie jars. Smoothies are best when enjoyed fresh and creamy. This recipe yields 2 servings but it’s easy to double or triple it for larger batches.

This Blueberry Lemonade is made with tart lemon juice and ripe blueberries for a naturally flavored spin on the classic beverage. Vegan, Gluten-free.

Blueberry Lemonade

blueberries (fresh

lemon juice*

cane sugar* (plus more if necessary)

Ice (for serving)

For garnish (optional: additional fresh blueberries, lemon slices, fresh mint)

Blend: Add the blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, and salt to the base of a large blender. Cover with cold water, seal well, and blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds, until smooth (Note: if you have a smaller blender, use only 2 cups of water, then add the rest of the water to the pitcher in step 2 after straining)

Strain: Fill a pitcher with ice, then strain the blueberry liquid into the pitcher using either a fine mesh strainer or a nut milk bag. Both will remove the blueberry skins and seeds, but the nut milk bag does have a slightly smoother texture and is what I recommend!

Serve: Serve chilled and garnished with fresh lemon slices and blueberries, if desired. Leftovers will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days; just shake well before serving as the blueberries will settle.
