Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees

This is the BEST and EASIEST hummus recipe! With just 7 simple ingredients, you can have oh-so-creamy hummus in 5 minutes! No need to peel or boil chickpeas.

The Best and Easiest Hummus Recipe

chickpeas,

tahini

garlic,

cumin

salt,

lemon juice

water

paprika

chopped fresh parsley, cilantro or dill

olive oil

pine nuts

hot sauce

To a food processor, add the drained and rinsed chickpeas, tahini, garlic, cumin, salt, lemon juice and 4 tablespoons of cold water.

Puree for about 4-5 minutes until smooth and creamy. If it&#039;s not quite creamy or too thick, add a few more tablespoons of cold water. This will help fluff it up and make it creamy and smooth.

Taste and season with additional salt, garlic, cumin or lemon juice if needed.

Add to a bowl and garnish with toppings of choice. Serve with pita bread and veggie sticks or spread on toast, sandwiches, mix into pasta or use anywhere else you like. Enjoy!

Oil-Free Barbecue White Bean Hummus

garlic (with skins still on)

white cannellini beans, drained & rinsed

tomato paste

vegan worcestershire sauce

apple cider vinegar

maple syrup

liquid smoke

fine sea salt

Optional garnish: green onions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and place the garlic cloves (with skin still on!) wrapped in foil loosely and roast for 10 minutes.This will bring out more flavor and depth and be less strong than raw garlic.

Meanwhile, drain and rinse the beans well and add them to a food processor. Process until they are broken up.

Add the remaining ingredients and process for a minute or so, scrape down the sides and process again for several minutes until creamy smooth. Walk away and let it process until totally smooth. I let mine go a few minutes. It will give you the creamiest dip ever.

Taste and add any extra spice if desired. The only thing I added extra was the chili powder.

Serve in a bowl and drizzle barbecue sauce and green onions on top if desired. I could not stop eating this dip. I loved the sweet smoky barbecue flavor with the small spicy kick. Leave feedback below after you make it!

white beans (drained and rinsed (Great Northern, cannellini, etc.)

cumin (use less if you aren't a big fan)

chili powder

salt

garlic cloves, minced

jalapeno slices (9 grams)

(45 grams) fresh lime juice

(15 grams) hot water

(40 grams) runny/drippy roasted tahini

(240 grams) sliced avocado (1 1/2 large avocado)

Add all of the ingredients to a food processor and process for several minutes, scraping the sides during a couple of times. Process until completely smooth. The longer you run it, the smoother it will be.

Taste and add any extra salt or jalapenos if desired. This hummus is a beige/very light touch of green, so add the optional spinach if you desire a bolder green as in the photos. This is not for taste, but for presentation only. Garnish with extra jalapeno slices and fresh limes for serving. This hummus is delicious with chips, on toast or in tacos/burritos.
