Hearty Chocolate Oat Smoothie

non-dairy milk

oats

almond butter (or other nut/seed butter)

cocoa powder

flax seeds

vanilla extract

large ripe banana, preferably frozen

sea salt

cinnamon

chocolate protein powder (optional)

In an upright blender, combine the non-dairy milk, oats, almond butter, cocoa powder, flax seeds, vanilla, banana, salt, cinnamon, protein powder (if using), and ice (if using). Put the lid on and bring the blender speed up to high. Blend until the smoothie is totally smooth and frothy. Enjoy immediately!

In an upright blender, combine the frozen peaches, oats, date, chia seeds, almond butter, lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla, protein powder (if using) non-dairy milk, and water. Blend on high until thoroughly combined and frothy. It’ll be super thick! Enjoy immediately.

Wholesome and sweet, my vegan salted caramel apple smoothie is surprisingly perfect for breakfast! It’s made with frozen chopped apples, Medjool dates, vanilla extract, flax seeds, almond butter, vegan protein powder and more for a creamy, frothy, and delicious vegan smoothie.

Salted Caramel Apple Smoothie (Vegan)

apples

soy milk

apple cider or unclarified apple juice

unsweetened vegan yogurt ((see notes))

Medjool dates, pitted

vanilla protein powder

In an upright, high speed blender, combine the frozen apples, soy milk, apple cider, vegan yogurt, almond butter, Medjool dates, protein powder, flax seeds, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Blend on high until completely smooth, about 1-2 full minutes. Enjoy immediately!

These vegan protein pancakes are soft, fluffy, and made with just 7 ingredients. The perfect easy pancake recipe for breakfast or brunch! 

Fluffy Vegan Protein Pancakes

almond milk (sub any plant based milk)

apple cider vinegar (sub lemon juice)

canola oil oil

(150 grams) 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour

vanilla protein powder*

baking soda

baking powder

Mix the wet ingredients

In a medium bowl or measuring cup, stir together the almond milk, apple cider vinegar, and oil. Set aside. 

Mix the dry ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, baking soda, and baking powder. 

Mix together the wet and dry ingredients

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined – a few lumps are okay. Be careful not to over mix the batter or your pancakes will be tough. 

Cook the pancakes

Heat a nonstick griddle or well-seasoned cast-iron skillet over medium heat. Once hot, grease the pan. Pour 1/4 cup batter onto the pan and cook until bubbles form, about 3 minutes. Then flip the pancakes and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 2-3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.

This recipe yields about 12 small pancakes. Serve with fresh fruit, vegan butter, and maple syrup.

In a spice grinder, individually grind the pumpkin seeds then the chia seeds until they&#39;re in powder form. Transfer to a bowl with the ground flax, almond flour, cocoa powder and cinnamon, and mix until fully combined.

Store in the fridge for up to one month. To make a smoothie, add approximately 4 tablespoons (one scoop). I like to add mine to a 1½ of soy milk and a frozen banana for a frosty shake that has over 15g of protein.
