Ginger milk tea (adrak wali chai) made in 10 minutes using minimal ingredients.

Ginger Milk Tea - Adrak Wali Chai

black tea

water

almond milk (or other)

cinnamon

Peel

Peel and cut ginger into small pieces. (Alternatively, you can grate it.)

Add ginger to a small saucepan &amp; pour milk on top. Heat it up slowly until piping hot. Don&#39;t let it boil.

Steep

In the meantime add tea to boiling water. Let steep for 4 minutes before removing the tea bag/leaves.

Remove

Remove the ginger from your milk (by pouring it through a sieve).

Froth

Optional step - froth the milk using a milk frother or a blender.

Serve

Pour the milk on top of your tea and finish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

This is pure sunshine in a mug. Refreshing, nourishing and SUPER healthy.

Cinnamon Turmeric Ginger Tea

g ginger (freshly grated, equals 1 very large thumb)

lemon juice

tbsp agave syrup (or other sweetener)

turmeric

pepper

Peel the ginger and grate it straight into your medium-sized pan.

Add the rest of your ingredients (lemon juice, agave syrup, turmeric, cinnamon, pepper) to a pan. Pour 500ml of water into the pan. 

Heat up for about 4 minutes until you can see steam rising out of the pan. Make sure to keep whisking as this will help cinnamon &amp; turmeric dissolve. 

Remove from heat and strain to remove any leftover ginger bits. Serve with an extra slice of fresh lemon and some ginger.
