In a medium sized skillet cook and crumble the ground beef.  Add in 2 tablespoons taco seasoning.

Assemble the walking tacos by adding ground beef and favorite toppings to the bag of chips.

In a large skillet, brown beef or turkey over medium heat and drain the fat. Add the onion to the meat and sautee a couple of minutes until soft. Add the taco seasoning along with 1/2 cup of water and simmer until water is absorbed. If serving immediate pour in a bowl. You can also combine the meat and black beans if you want and keep them warm in a slow cooker.

Crush your chips with your hands and open your bag. Add your beef mixture and whatever toppings you desire. Eat with a fork as you walk around!

Quick &amp; Easy Walking Tacos Recipe

Favorite taco toppings (chopped lettuce, tomatoes, homemade guacamole, shredded cheese, or sour cream)

Prepare your taco meat. We like to use our Homemade taco seasoning mix recipe and I even like to add in 1/4 cup of salsa to our taco meat.

Prepare the taco toppings.

You will need at least one bag of single serve Doritos for every person. We buy ours in bulk at Sam's or online on Amazon.

Each person will crush their bag of chips to crunch up the Doritos.

Cut open the bag of Doritos down the side.

Spoon the Taco meat inside and then top with your favorite taco toppings.

Stir with a spoon and eat straight from a bag!

Walking Tacos are a quick, crowd-pleasing meal made with seasoned ground beef spooned straight into a bag of chips and finished with cheese, lettuce, and your favorite toppings. Ready in about 25 minutes, they’re perfect for busy nights, game day, or casual gatherings when you want something fun, filling, and easy to customize.

Convenient &amp; Flavorful Walking Tacos

½ small yellow onion (finely diced)

mild taco seasoning

Fritos corn chips

cheddar cheese

iceberg lettuce

Sour cream

jalapeños

Hot sauce

Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned and the onion is soft. Drain excess grease if needed.

Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer until the mixture thickens slightly and stays juicy but not soupy. Remove from heat.

Gently crush the Fritos bags and cut them open down the side. Spoon the warm beef mixture directly into each bag.

Top with shredded cheese so it melts into the meat, then add lettuce. Finish with a dollop of sour cream and any optional toppings.

Serve immediately with forks.
