Why have a Moscow mule or Kentucky mule when you can have a...watermelon mule? This unique spin on the classic cocktail is light and refreshing.

Watermelon Mule

watermelon juice (see Step 1)

vodka

lime juice, lime

ginger beer

Make the watermelon juice

To make 1 cup watermelon juice, add 2 cups cubed watermelon to a blender and blend until a juice forms. Then pour the juice through a fine mesh strainer into a clean container. This will make enough for 3 drinks, so multiply as desired!

In a copper mug or glass, pour in the watermelon juice, vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer.

Add ice and garnish with a lime slice. Serve immediately.

This watermelon margarita has an extra little kick. It&#x27;s easy to make and perfect summer sipping.

Spicy watermelon margarita

oz watermelon juice (120 milliliters (see notes))

oz tequila (30 milliliters (2 tbsp))

oz lime juice

fresh jalepeno (or more/less to taste)

salt and chili to rim glass

First make your watermelon juice - see below. This can be done ahead and refrigerated.

Put some salt and a little chili on a small plate and mix. Rub the rim of a glass with a slice of lime then dip in the salt-chili mixture to form a salt rim.

Put the jalepeno slices in a cocktail shaker and muddle a little to release a little juice. (No need to do this if you plan to shake a lot or want less spicy)

Add the watermelon juice, tequila, tripe sec and lime juice along with a few pieces of ice. Shake a minute until well chilled.

Pour into the prepared glass, add ice if you like to chill further, and serve.

Add the watermelon, banana and ice cubes to a blender, making sure the ice cubes are closest to the blades.

Pulse the blender a few times until all the ingredients are partially blended. If the blades are not reaching the watermelon and banana, shake the blender container a few times to bring down the fruit, then pulse a couple of times. Next, blend for 5-6 seconds only. Don’t over-blend! There should still be small ice chunks for a slightly slushy texture.

&#39;Otai, A Tongan Watermelon Drink Recipe that is perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day and a beloved drink in Tonga.

'Otai (Tongan Watermelon Drink Recipe)

Watermelon (cold and seedless (cubed))

(cold

15 oz coconut milk (chilled can shake before opening)

coconut water (chilled)

Tbsp lime juice (chilled)

tsp simple syrup (to taste)

Place the watermelon in a large bowl and mash until nearly liquid leaving small chunks.

Grate the pineapple if using fresh or if using canned add it with the juice and all the other ingredients.  Add simple syrup to taste if you desire a sweeter drink.

Mix all together and chill for about 30 minutes and serve over ice, garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy.

Traditional Way

Add all the ingredient into the blender and blend in short spurts to keep a bit of texture.  Add a small amount of simple syrup or other sweetener if desired just to your sweetness level.

Pour over ice and enjoy, garnish with a lime wedge.

Blender Method

This watermelon coconut agua fresca is incredibly easy to make and so refreshing.

watermelon (red flesh only, diced)

coconut water

Put everything in a blender and blend until well broken up. Strain in to 2 glasses with a few ice cubes in each.

Watermelon Mocktail

watermelon (seedless)

lime juice (about 2 limes juiced)

club soda

mint

Cube watermelon. Remove any seeds.

Slice four thin rounds from your limes. Set aside to be used for garnish. Juice the rest of the two limes.

 Combine the cubed watermelon and lime juice in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Using a sieve, strain the watermelon and lime mixture until you&#039;re left with just the juice. Set aside.

Place 5 mint leaves at the bottom of each glass. Use a muddler to release the flavor of the mint.

Fill cups with ice. Pour watermelon juice halfway full. Top with club soda until full. Gently stir with a spoon.

Garnish each glass with a thin slice of watermelon, a sprig of mint, and reserved lime wedge. Enjoy!

This watermelon mocktail is the perfect summer drink. And since it's non-alcoholic, even the kids can enjoy this drink. :)

Agua de Sandia

(~12 cups) watermelon, diced (2.24)

water (0.01)

¼ - ½ cup agave or cane sugar (0.61)

Mint sprigs

Lime or lemon wedges

Basil leaves

To start, slice the watermelon in wedges and remove the rind. Seed each piece if you&#39;d like, then cut it into small chunks and transfer to a blender.

Add 1 cup of water and mix on high until smooth, then transfer to a large mason jar or pitcher. Repeat the same process with the other half of the watermelon.

Add the rest of the water into your pitcher along with &frac14; cup sweetener and stir. Taste and add more sweetener or water to your liking.

Transfer the jar to your fridge to chill for a few hours, or serve your agua de sandia immediately over ice with mint sprigs, fresh basil, lime, or lemon wedges. Enjoy!
