Refreshing and sweet, this Watermelon Margaritas recipe is the perfect summer cocktail. It is easy to make with only a handful of ingredients.

Watermelon Margaritas

watermelon ((about ¾-pound 675 grams))

salt

lime juice ((4 ounces 120 milliliters))

Place the watermelon cubes in a blender container and blend on high speed until puréed. I like to strain mine through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the pulp, but that is optional. Chill the watermelon juice until ready to use.

Salt the rim of 4 glasses by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping it in coarse salt. Fill with ice.

For each cocktail, combine 3 ounces of watermelon juice, 1½ ounces of tequila, 1-ounce of lime juice, and 1 ounce of triple sec in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice.

Shake until the outside is frosty, about 15 seconds. Pour into the cocktail glasses. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.

This watermelon margarita is made with just four ingredients (salt rim not included) and can be served on the rocks or frozen. This drink is light, refreshing, fruity, and the perfect summer go-to for watermelon lovers!

Watermelon Margarita

oz watermelon (diced (yields 330 ml watermelon juice))

silver tequila

lime juice (from 3 limes)

tbsp sweetener (of choice)

Sea salt (for lining rim (optional))

Ice cubes ((optional))

cayenne pepper ((optional))

You can watch the video in the post for visual instructions.Add diced watermelon to a blender or food processor and blend until it&#39;s juice. Strain the watermelon juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds and pulp.

Combine watermelon juice, lime juice, tequila, and sweetener in a bowl or shake the mixture in a cocktail shaker if you have one. Taste it and add more sweetener if needed.

Cut a lime into wedges and rub against the outer rim of the glass. Dip each glass upside down onto a small plate, that has some salt on it, to cover the rim with the salt. This step is optional but it looks nice.

Add ice cubes and pour in the watermelon mix. Enjoy immediately!
