celery,

tomato paste

beef

tbsp. chili powder

cumin

garlic powder

Kosher salt

black pepper

(28-oz.) can crushed tomatoes

(15-oz.) can kidney beans,

(15-oz.) can pinto beans,

Shredded cheddar,

Green onions, sliced,

I made this recipe 2 weeks ago and again today and my family loved it! Honestly, taste very much like Wendy's.

Im not sure why there are negative reviews; if you cook it right (hint, reduce it down properly) and add spice to the level you want it, this recipe is great!

I think I just got punked. This is AWFUL. Did your taste buds take a vacation? Dr.’d it up as best I could Whew girl. Shredding recipe.

Thought it was perfect as is with the addition of 1/4 c Rotel. I used an immersion blender to chop all the veggies after sautéing and to me tasted exactly liked Wendy’s.

Love it. Dont' eat at Wendy's so I can't compare. Just know I love this soup

I love this recipe! I follow it pretty much to the letter every time I make it! My family loves it!!

Close but not quite it. Not spicy enough. Something is missing. Good though.

This recipe is great. I made this for my men's bible study group and they are the whole pot..lol

Review from Marie Jones

Best Recipe so far, I have tried this recipe in august 2021 and really liked it. It's been so long since you posted this recipe. Do you have other versions of this recipe? I would love to try those too.

Review from Jerry

I've been using this recipe since it's been available. We like to double the green pepper & celery, and add a can of dark red kidney beans. One of our favorite dishes to make! Jerry & Rose

This simple Wendy’s Chili recipe copy-cat is easy and delicious. Make a double batch and freeze some for later. Make sure to add it to your dinner meal plan!

yellow (sweet onions, chopped)

green bell peppers (chopped)

celery ribs (chopped)

cans Ranch Style Beans (NOT drained (15 ounce cans))

dark red kidney beans (drained (15 ounce cans))

Rotel

plain tomato sauce (15 ounce cans)

packages McCormick Mild Chili Seasoning (1.25 ounce packages)

Combine all ingredients in a large stock pot.

Simmer for at least three hours (I let mine cook all day long).

This is the best tasting chili recipe I have ever made; I literally panic if I misplace the recipe!

I love this recipe. I make it and freeze some to serve over the fall and winter months. It is so good.

This is our go-to chili recipe! The kids love it and we sneak the extra fiber(celery) that they would never eat into their diet. I’ve shared this with extended family and they all love it. Thanks for sharing this recipe!

i tried making the chili in my instant pot.got error msg, no water.the juice from the tomatoes wasnt enough. i switched to slow cook on high.in 3hrs the chili was ready to eat.the chili came out great, you just cant pressure cook this recipe.
Nowwww if you did spaghetti and meatballs or just spaghetti YESSSSS it wil work, i've pressure cooked both.

I make this chili for my MahJongg group and I make the full recipe. Fills two crockpots. Enough for 25-30 people.
Cook on low 8 hours. Put in fridge overnight and warm up the next day in crockpot. Just put it on high a couple of hours. Done. Mostly hands off except for the browning of the beef and of course chopping veggies. I do the veggies the day before with a chopper.
Everyone loves it.

The best chili I’ve ever had!!! Entire family loved every bite. I will never use another recipe for chili. Tonight makes the 2nd pot in 2 weeks. Followed recipe exactly other than adding a can of water. Thanks for sharing😊

Hands down the best chili I’ve eaten. I had to cut the recipe in half as were a small family. I’ll never use another chili recipe! Just like Wendy’s but more fresh tasting 12/10 amazing

Damn good chili! I cooked on the stove and halved the recipe. I did add1 extra can of Rotel and stewed tomatoes. I also seasoned the ground beef. The combo of ranch beans, stewed tomatoes and Rotel is brilliant and gives the perfect flavor. This recipe is a keeper!

This is my go to recipe. No changes necessary.
