Step 1
Cut your Delicata squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Then, cut each half into slices. You can also cut the squash into rings without cutting it in half first and pull out the seeds from each ring. From there, cut the rings in half.
Step 2
While you are cutting the squash, preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees.
Step 3
Once the squash is cut, place the slices in a large bowl and toss them in the 2 tsp of olive oil, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/8 tsp of black pepper.
Step 4
Put the squash in the preheated air fryer, and cook for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Be sure to stop the cooking halfway through to give the air fryer basket a shake to ensure even cooking. As each air fryer is different, you will have to set your air fryer to cook according to its instructions and settings.
Step 6
The squash should be cooked after 10 minutes. When the air fryer cuts off at the end of cooking, use a fork to check for doneness. Serve with your favorite main dish or toss into a warm goat cheese salad.
