Step 1

These are the chips that I used in this recipe.

Step 2

Layout the tortillas in a stack. I counted out 5.

Step 3

I used a pizza cutter, to make wedges, cut the tortilla in half and then make three wedges out on each side, the total amount is 30 pieces you get from 5 tortillas.

Step 4

Place the cut wedges into a small mixing bowl, and mix together the olive oil (use enough,so you coat each and every wedge) I added an optional dash of salt. Note: I use my hands for these, to coat each one.As I put it on the ungreased air fryer tray (If you have a basket, just put them in the uncoated basket)

Step 5

The weight of the oil will keep them from flying around (at least in the Omni Air Fryer)

Step 6

Then set the temperature to 320 degrees F (air fryer setting), but you only need 4 minutes, after 2 minutes,I flipped the chips so that they wouldn’t get burnt on the side. I made this 2x, once without flipping them, and they were dark brown, the second batch, I flipped them and they came out MUCH better.

Step 7

Then, what I realized after doing the first batch, is as they cool, (I put mine on a dish towel) they harden slightly.

Step 8

Plate, serve and enjoy!
