Step 1
To make this easy recipe, cut the salmon fillets into even sizes or purchase them already pre-cut into fillets. You can remove the skin if you’d like, but the skin will hold the shape of the fillet better after cooking. Make sure to cut or choose fillets of similar size or weight for even cooking.
Step 2
Grease the air fryer basket with no-stick cooking spray or brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking. There is no need to preheat the air fryer unless you are cooking salmon from frozen.
Step 3
Pat dry salmon with a paper towel for a crispy exterior!
Step 4
Brush fillets with olive oil on the top and sides. Then spreadon grated garlic and season with Cajun seasoning and salt on the top and sides as well.
Step 5
Place the salmon in the air fryer. Make sure to leave room between them so that air can circulate.
Step 6
Cook salmon at 400° F (220° C) for 10 minutes. The cooking time varies depending on the thickness of the fillet. The best way to check doneness is to insert a thermometer into the thickest part of the fillet. It must reach the recommended internal temperature of at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C) according to the USDA.
Step 7
Remove them from the air fryer and squeeze the juice of a lemon on top. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.
