Export 16 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Pour Apple Cider and applesauce into a pan. Heat on medium heat. Simmer until reduced by two thirds (will become thicker).
Step 2
Preheat your waffle maker. (For mine, I just plug it in and leave the lid closed to preheat.)
Step 3
Measure all ingredients.
Step 4
In a bowl, mix all wet ingredients with a hand whisk.
Step 5
Add sourdough starter and mix thoroughly with a hand whisk.
Step 6
Measure and stir all dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Step 7
Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Step 8
Cook according to your waffle maker's instructions.
Step 9
I put the batter into a preheated waffle maker, add 1/3 cup of batter to each waffle form, close the top, and wait for about 5 minutes until the orange light turns off.
Step 10
Remove waffles and serve with butter, maple syrup and cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
