Step 1

Melt butter in a pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until translucent. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds more or until fragrant.

Step 2

Add flour and cook for 2 minutes, mixing constantly.

Step 3

Slowly incorporate stock, beer and milk, mixing well after each addition and making sure there are no lumps left.

Step 4

Season with paprika, oregano and onion powder and bring to a gentle simmer.

Step 5

Incorporate broccoli florets and cook for 20 minutes or until broccoli is tender.

Step 6

Add white cheddar cheese and cook for 2 more minutes or until fully melted. Remove from fire and rectify with salt and pepper.
