Refreshing summer pie. Easy, sets nicely in the fridge, doesn’t flop when cut. Very versatile. Strawberry

Make you drain the watermelon WELL after dicing it. Place it into a colander to be sure all the extra juice is gone.Another important thing is to be SURE to cool the gelatin down completely before adding in your whipped topping or all you will get is SLUSH!The BEST gelatin to use, imo, is Jolly Rancher watermelon!  It has the best flavor for this pie!This is a simple recipe that turns out WELL if you follow directions and will absolutely THRIL watermelon lovers in your family!  It's delicious!

Even though the watermelon lovers in my family did not like this pie, I'm still giving it 4 stars.  It is such a light and refreshing dessert for a hot summer day.  So easy to make, too!

Some wal-marts do sell individual boxes of the watermelon jello! This is perfect for a summer day! So so so refreshing! Everyone loved it! Nice choice for something other than the normal strawberry, cherry, or blueberry pie!

This is the BEST pie ever for hot days of Summer. Followed the recipe exactly except used reduced fat graham cracker crust & light cool whip (dietary restrictions).  Found the watermelon jello at Walmart, as other markets didn't carry it.  It stayed in the fridge for a good 4 days. Why does recipe call for seeded watermelon?  What do you do with the seeds?  We buy seedless watermelons.

Very good and refreshing as they said. Does get runny if not eaten in one day though. But we thought it was very good.

I've made this a couple times this summer. My 6 year-old granddaughter said it was "Amazing". Everyone agreed with her.This is definitely a keeper, it's so refreshing on a hot summer day.

While I love anything watermelon, and couldn't wait to dig into this pie, I as well as my husband, did not care for this dessert. It just didn't have that WOW factor! We thought it was rather bland. Both of us ate one piece, then discarded the rest. I'm sorry I couldn't of given a better review.

A light and refreshing pie.  I was unable to find watermelon jello so used melon fusion instead.  It made the pie a pale green, it was pretty with the pink watermelon inside.  I have also made this pie with other flavors like orange with mandarin oranges and strawberry and raspberry too.  It is very versatile so adapt it to your favorites fruits.

My brother has Celiac Disease so I made it in parfait glasses and served cookies he could eat on the side.  Less calories that way too!

This is so delicious. I made it for a friend for her birthday this month. She just raved about it. I had never heard of a pie made with watermelon. It is worth it and very quick and easy to make. I am making another one tomorrow.

It tastes like a watermelon jolly rancher.   Pretty good.  You could easily change this with different fruit and jello mix (strawberry, peach, raspberry, cherry...)

All I can say is ditto, ditto, and ditto again!  My oldest son loves watermelon - about the only fruit he will eat.  So easy, too!  Everybody - put this one in your recipe boxes!
