Creamy Chicken Thighs & Noodles

boneless skinless chicken thighs (about 2 pounds)

(10-1/2 ounces each) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted

(10-1/2 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted

sour cream

paprika

onion powder

salt

cayenne pepper

egg noodles

Very easy, which is always nice. Sometimes I use cream cheese in place of sour cream and an envelope of Italian salad Dressing Mix in place of the spices listed. Both are good!

I tried this last night and it was delicious! I followed the recipe exactly except I baked it in the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour instead of using the slow cooker.  We all loved it, I will definitely make it again!

Fantastic dish! I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts, added mushrooms & fresh asparagus, and cooked in on the stovetop.

Tried this today and it was very easy to put together and I really enjoyed it.  I followed the recipe exactly.  I don’t think it needs to be cooked for quite as long as the recipe says.  Next time I will sauté some mushrooms to add because I think that would enhance the flavor, but there will be a next time!

I will definitely be making this again. It is fast and easy to put together. The spiciness/heat is just right for me. I used boneless chicken breasts, as that is what I had on hand. I also sprinkled ground white pepper on the chicken. I put some of the sauce mix on the bottom of the crock pot then put the chicken in and piled on the rest of the soup mix. I put it on high for about 3 1/2 hours. Turned out tender and moist.

Wonderful slow cooker meal!!  I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts instead of thighs.  Cooked on low about 7 hours and the chicken was moist and tender.  I used smoked paprika and served it over egg noodles.  This recipe is so easy to put together!  It's going into my slow cooker recipe file to make again.....and again!

I have made this recipe numerous times without ever needing to change it. It works with chicken thighs and boneless skinless chicken breasts. It tastes great on its own or over potatoes, rice, or noodles. One thing that is important to remember for the recipe though is to make sure you get good paprika! When choosing paprika, trying sniffing it. It should have a rich aroma.

This recipe was SO good!  During this "stay home" time in our lives, it was ever so appreciated and delicious!  We got re-acquainted with our crockpot in the bargain.  We served with cheddar cheese biscuits.  It's a real "comfort food" keeper! ??????

If you are a fan of Chicken Paprika .... this recipe is for you!  It's a very easy recipe to make... just throw  everything in your slow cooker!   The condensed soup makes a beautiful creamy broth and the chicken just falls apart!  I made a few small changes when I made it:  I used only 2 cans of condensed soup (both cans were Cream of Chicken); 3/4 cup sour cream (instead of 1 cup);  I used smoked paprika;  1 teaspoon dried onion flakes instead of onion powder and only 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne (instead of 1/4 teaspoon)  I served with egg noodles (that I added 1 1/2 cu frozen/thawed peas to the last 5 minutes of cooking).  Also, I cooked on HIGH for 3 1/2 to 4 hours.   A wonderful meal!!

This was a great dinner the whole family loved. The only change I made was to season chicken. I've made this recipe again using another user's suggestion of adding peas to the noodles and substitute onion powder with onion flakes. Also a great meal- just more colorful!

Has anybody tried this with bone-in thighs?

WOW!  This was just delicious.  Spent the day out on the lake and came home to this in the crockpot and served it over mashed potatoes.  My husband is not a big chicken eater but by bite two, he said, "You can make this any time!"  I didn't change a thing.  Delish!

Fantastic! I will definitely be making this again! I am not one to measure too much when it comes to cooking, I just eye-ball it. The chicken was full of flavor and fell to pieces when it was stirred. YUMMY!

Did exactly what recipe stated, I t  was a no go, my husband is a dark meat lover but not this one!

This was the best recipe for thighs - very, very tasty and super easy!!

We really enjoyed the flavors in this dish. When I make it next, I will try a low salt soup.I also, used chicken breasts.

This was just okay, I thought. Mine lacked flavor, but I did substitute cream of celery soup for one can of the cream of chicken. To be fair, that may have been the problem. I probably won't make it again as there are so many other TOH recipes waiting for me to try them.

This has to be the easiest recipe I have ever made...awesome good...Yum...I will make this again & again.....BTW, I had a bag of boneless, skinless, breast chicken tenders that I used instead of the thighs.....
