FIRST STEP:Preheat the oven to 350*

Heat the olive oil in a skillet and add in the onion and meat

SECOND STEP:Add the tomato sauce and the seasonings, let simmer for 15 minutes

Place half of the shredded cabbage at the bottom of a well greased casserole dish

THIRD STEP:Place half of the meat mixture over the cabbage

Place the other half of the cabbage on top of the meat

FOURTH STEP:Top with the remaining meat mixture

Spread a layer of Ricotta cheese on top of the meat sauce layer

FIFTH STEP:Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese

Cover the casserole dish tightly with aluminum foil

SIXTH STEP:Place on center rack in the oven and bake for 40 minutes

Remove the aluminum foil and bake for another 15 minutes

SEVENTH STEP:Serve with dinner rolls and a side of vegetables
