Step 1
Place ribs at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 2
Add in the liquid smoke on top of the ribs. Remember that a little bit of liquid smoke goes a long way!
Step 3
Sprinkle on the brown sugar, chopped onions, salt & pepper, and pour barbecue sauce on top.
Step 4
If you want a little more spice on your ribs, then add in the chili powder and jalapeño.
Step 5
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
