Step 1
Peel and shred the cucumber using a large cheese grater. Make sure to remove the seeds from the ordinary cucumber before grating.
Step 2
Squeeze as much water as possible from the grated cucumber using a kitchen towel or paper towels to keep the tzatziki sauce from being too thin.
Step 3
Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, garlic, fresh herbs, and salt and pepper should all be combined in a medium-sized bowl. Store refrigerated until you're ready to serve!
