Step 1
Dry off and season your pork chops by dabbing them with a paper towel. The season you chops with the seasonings, you will want to do a sprinkle of each on all sides of the chops.
Step 2
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a pan, brown the chops on both sides, remove from pan and set aside.
Step 3
Add two more tablespoons of butter to the same pan and the onions, season the onions with the same seasonings, to your liking, about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of each sauté them until they are golden brown then add your splash of gravy master, and the can of French onion soup, Simmer for ten minutes whisking occasionally until smooth.
Step 4
Add the can of cream of mushroom and chicken broth together in a bowl, whisk until smooth, then add to the pan with onions. Simmer ten minutes.
Step 5
Add your chops to a baking dish, pour the soup mixture over the chops, then top with the provolone, you can use more or less cheese, bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes, remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving. The thickness of your pork chops will increase or decrease your cook time.
