Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Step 2
Lightly butter an 8x8 inch baking pan. Place 5 cups of cubed bread on the bottom, spread evenly.
Step 3
In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla extract. Pour the mixture over the bread and dot with margarine. Set aside for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle over the top.
Step 5
Bake in preheated oven about 45 to 50 minutes, or until the top turns golden.
