Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees F.

Using a hand mixer and large bowl beat together the sugars and the butter at medium speed.

Next, add the egg and vanilla and continue to beat until fluffy, about a minute.

Blend in the flour, salt and baking soda.

Step 5

Stir in by hand the granola and chocolate chips.

Step 6

Drop the cookie dough by mounted teaspoon onto a cookie sheet.

Step 7

Flatten the batter into round discs using the back of a wet spoon.

Step 8

Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Step 9

Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack.

Step 10

Store cookies at room temperature in an airtight container.
