Step 1
Bring 4 1/4 cups salted water to a boil in a large pot. Whisking constantly, gradually add polenta; reduce heat to low and cook with a lid on for 40 minutes.
Step 2
Line a cake pan with foil and pour the polenta into it. Spread the polenta mixture evenly over it and let cool.
Step 3
Preheat your broiler or grill. Slice the polenta, toast it on the grill or place under a broiler until lightly toasted. Serve with chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano
