Step 1

Start with a clean glass. To create the first layer, fold one piece of salami halfway over the rim of the glass. Gently squeeze the slice with your fingertips to help secure it to the glass. The salami slice should be half inside the glass and the other half outside of the glass. Grab another slice of salami and overlap the first slice by 1/4- 1/2 an inch. Overlapping is what creates the shape of a rose. Repeat the steps until the entire rim is covered.

Step 2

Start the second layer. Using the same process, overlapping the salami slices, and making your way around the glass

Step 3

Repeat this process creating several layers.  When finished, the hole in the center starts to close, without being able to add any more layers securely.

Step 4

Reveal the rose. Flip the champagne glass. upside down and slowly pull the glass away, releasing the salami rose.
