In the same pan, add the butter, chicken broth, lemon juice and zest, and the remaining 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Simmer for two to three minutes. Place the chicken back in the skillet and continue cooking for another two to three minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F. If desired, sprinkle the chicken with chopped parsley and thyme and serve it with lemon slices.
